Congratulations to the Mountain Birch home on the big win yesterday in our campus intramural basketball tournament. Oak Ridge put up a good fight and all the students played well and had fun. Big thanks to our special guest speaker this morning, Mr. Christian Moore, founder of WhyTry. He gave a wonderful presentation on the power of #Resilience and #UnconditionalLove. Some highlights we wanted to share:
1. Work harder than the people helping you and the sky is the limit to what you will accomplish.
2. Lift the weight! You can't build muscle by lifting balloons.
3. In all your interactions with others you are either increasing or decreasing their suffering. Choose to lessen their suffering and your own will be lessened as well.
