OH MY GOD THESE ARE SO MUCH FUN! (Yes, the grownups definitely had a turn.)
Zuru Toys Company Bubble Ball
I played with a toy and wrote a review. Penny helped...with the playing, not so much with the review.

Super fun beach day with Sy and couple buddies. #CampDad
In the battle of exercise vs. extra sleep, exercise is getting its ass kicked.
Simon wants to see Transformers: The Last Knight today. Has anyone seen it? If so, I have a few questions: (a) why, good god, why, (b) is it okay for a 5 year old, (c) is it okay for someone older than 5, (d) can you take my son to see it, I'll be at Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.
I'm doing some sort of FB Live thing on BLUNTmoms tonight at 10:00. It's later than I like to stay up and should be a clusterfuck. You should tune in.
Simon is really quick at picking up the melody of songs. The words, not so much. Right now, he's singing "Here we are now, mashed potatoes!"
Penny is in day camp, but Sy is in dad camp. First day: a far away playground, the community pool, pick up sis and, after I walk the dog, we're headed back to the pool. In the coming days, I'm thinking a museum, the beach, a little tennis and back to the playground and pool. Who else is planning daily activities? Whadya got?
Beer hall night.

On one hand this is beautiful. It's a peaceful, loving way to deal with hate. On the other hand, why should those bigoted douche bags get a free concert?

Hey, who's that handsome fella in the Kia? Thanks for the mighty fine editing, Kia Motors America! I'm sure most of my answers were way dumber than they sounded here. (Although there is one quick cut where I go from wearing a short sleeve shirt to a jacket. Not sure whose jacket...or arm that is.
😜
🤔)
For context: this is a video I shot at the Dad 2.0 Summit. I didn't know if or how the footage would be used (a bunch of dudes participated in the interview/test drive). Plus, it was like 5 months ago, so I'd pretty much forgotten about it.

I think too much importance is ascribed to specific days: birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, and, yes, Mother's & Father's Days. Like if those occasions don't go perfectly, something is wrong with your relationship. For so many people, these holidays end up being a big fucking bummer. Well not mine, suckers! I had an amazing Father's Day weekend. Monster Trucks with the fam, a little alone time exercising, multiple BBQs (including salmon on the grill, which is my kids...' new favorite meal), a STEM project with Penny, a super thoughtful gift from Allie, a relaxing and stress-free weekend, ending with family movie night. I hope everyone had a great Father's Day, but if you didn't, remember it's just a day. Your kids think you're awesome and your significant other appreciates you. Sometimes people are assholes, but that doesn't mean they don't love you.
Who else had a great weekend? Who had (or had in the past) an epically shitty Father's Day?
WE ARE READY FOR MONSTER TRUCKS WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!! (I'm not sure if the world is ready for my jorts.)
