My order arrived via courier service and was excellent. All the sweets packaged really well and no broken ones. The specialist packaging to keep rasgullas cold ...worked really well. I was kept informed of delivery progress and was even able to advise that i needed it to be delivered to my neighbour because i was going to be out and then was able to change it because i had come back home sooner than anticipated. I Placed a large order of 100 boxes today at the Euston branch, i was served by Ishtiaq who was extremely helpful and fulfil my order within 30 mins. Great service, great food, will always recommend this place. Thank you very much to the Euston team.

I ordered a week and a half ago it was supposed to be a suprise for someone and what the hell they still have not received it I have made calls left emails and ...suprise suprise still no contact what a shit service never again will waste money on this. I would just like to provide some feedback with reference to my experience within the Ambala store in Luton bury park. Deen and hi...s team are very polite and extremely helpful. Considering the fact that it is raining, the shop itself is in immaculate condition - this is very impressive as the number of people coming in and out with wet shoes, I am surprised it is so clean.

The experience I receive not only on this occasion is always so joyous. The team always ensure that each customer is served with professionalism and enthusiasm.

I would highly recommend this store to each and every person I know.

Terrible. Ordered boxes for my baby girl and her name was not written on the messages in tye boxes. Been trying to get hold of someone for the past two days to ...sort the issue but no one has been bothered to get back to us. Never buy. Very bad service. Neverhad such a shameful experienced before. Firstly, i kept getting emails and sms messages specifying time of delivery. 10mins... since the time of delivery, I received a message saying unable to deliver as no one is at home and have left a message card, when I was eagerly waiting at my doorstep for it. I had to call a few times to pass the message to deliver it asap. Secondly, the delivery guy comes in today and had taken effort to call me to know my exact place of residence which clearly says they never attempted to deliver it. Last but, not the least, the package was not as shown on the website. When open all the sweets were smashed up in the box. And they charged for the box for the price as shown in the picture. I don't know how to upload the pic else you could have seen the difference. Such a pity, I wanted my partner to have a surprise and it was very embarassing! For almost 30years we've been Ambala eaters and yesterday had seven 1kg boxes of Ambala mathai replaced because the initial purchase made a week ago wasn't the... quality that is usually enjoyed. This is is the best place for those mouthwatering Motichoor Ladoos soft melting Rasmalai most of their Burfis are quite scrumptious Samosas Dhokla and Ferreri chivda used to buy from here all the time really miss it a lot I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely appalled by the service I received today at the Green street branch. I was ignored by both members of staff after waiting patiently for 20mins. Two c...ustomers who arrived after me were served before me even though I raised my hand and said I was before both customers and they just ignored me. I wanted to buy sweets for 30 people. Not all that what they say about there sweats. I think nafees is better i bought mixt sweat bix but it didnt taste of anything it was like it was made for diabetics. I want waste 5 pounds on here.

While the products themselves are good, the service from Ambala Foods is unfortunately quite unprofessional. First order placed for delivery before Eid when the... website had a clear notice saying that orders made before midday on the Wednesday would be dispatched in time, however placed an order on Tuesday night only to be informed at midnight that it would not arrive for a week so I had to cancel and make other arrangements. When I asked for a refund this took two days to action (after I had to chase via telephone) and another few days more to show up.

Placed a second order on Monday night last week for dispatch on Tuesday and delivery on Wednesday (the 22nd of July), received messages saying the delivery would be on Sunday the 26th. Phoned immediately to query this and had to await a callback, was told that the messages were incorrect and the delivery would be on Wednesday. Just after 5pm on the Tuesday got more messages saying the delivery date would be Thursday the 23rd, but when I called to query this nobody answered the phone (call was around 5:20pm).

Order did however arrive on Wednesday after all the confusion, however received an incorrect item despite the correct item being on both my order confirmation and on the packing slip inside the package. Tried to contact Ambala Foods by phone twice, on Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 23rd but again no answer. Emailed them via the customer service email address on their site but have still not received any sort of response.

Summary: Good products, but customer service is really not good at all. عرض المزيد

We have been eating and giving Ambala sweets since we were kids, we recently placed a large order to celebrate the birth of our daughter and went for the baby g...irl gift boxes and ordered directly from the factory online. The order was delivered as fresh as you can imagine the next day, the boxes and personalised message inside each one was a great touch. There are allot of other companies that have come up since we were kids but the others always seem like substitutes in comparison. well done Ambala, keep it up :) عرض المزيد

Received the order this morning, Although the sweets are lovely and delicious as expected I have to say felt quite let down by the packaging..most boxes were ri...pped from the back corners as if they were used before or somebody tried to have a good wrestle whilst opening them..and the personalised message missing on few...!!! disappointed given there is extra charge for the personalised boxes...;( عرض المزيد

Went to Ambala foods (South Harrow branch) and got a couple of snacks and a pickle bottle. The store manager gave us an extra bottle saying it was free! We did ...not know what it was. Came home and checked, it was piri piri sauce and expires in 2 days! We were first time customers.. We do not expect anything free but at least the shop need not have insulted us by giving a bottle which has almost reached expiry!

A total disaster after purchasing online. I purchased it online for a big bulk. They wrote wrong address and now my packet is stuck somewhere. There is no respo...nse from Ambala either on email. They are just crap with no customer focus and no sense of responsibility.
