Food was great, service was absolutely horrendous. Went for dinner on 12-16 and had absolutely no server. Had to flag down a manager after sitting for 15 minute...s with noone coming to table. Manager took order and drinks didn't show up. Had to flag a random server (twice, as the first one never brought it) to get the drinks. Had to get busboys to grab refills. Then finally had to have a random server get my check. This is the first time I have EVER left a $0 tip. عرض المزيد

Great buffet today and chef also customized food very well for dinner earlier in the week and it was just delicious! My goto indian place in the bay area!

The food was very very good. Waiter was friendly and informative. The only thing that I could point out was we didn't make a reservation, so we had yo seat near the bar, but other than that it was an amazing experience.

Waste of money!! Nothing is great. Chicken Biryani is like curry chicken with rice.. one star for bhindi and tandoori Roti.

Reminded me of Indian food I got back in Nee York 25 years ago! I don't know why it seems different from typical west coast city Indian but it is!

Had the appetizer sampler and it was very good. Enough for 2 to share. The sagg paneer was delicious. One of my favorites and the sea bass was seasoned and cook...ed to perfection. Good selection of wines and was able to taste before ordering a glass. Very good service and atmosphere. I will be back. عرض المزيد

Horrible experience for me!

We were enjoying our dinner together (me & dear hubby) and we started a random conversation about us being so different (me being ...vegetarian & him being non-vegetarian) and he said there is something strange about this chicken biryani that he was having for dinner! Me being the curious one as usual started asking what is what.. He told me two of the bigger pieces were leg pieces as he went on eating them.. The last big piece was the chicken breast, he said.. And just as he was about to grab his next bite, we both saw blood coming out of the breast piece.. And i almost felt like throwing up.. One of the servers (not ours) caught my reaction and came up to us and nicely said we are sorry and your bill will be adjusted for the bad experience.. And now comes our own server who knowing the fact that this had happened, asked if hubby would like to get just another piece of chicken.. And without caring to wait for his response went ahead and asked us if we would like to have some dessert. Obviously I was in no mood to stay there another second! So we said no thanks! And she went running to get the bill. Not much to our surprize the bill wasnt adjusted! She handed us the bill and said since hubby had eaten most of the dish, they will not be able to adjust the price! No problem, we left no tip and paid the bill and came home to never go back to this restaurant again!! عرض المزيد

Just to add to the below review since it was posted by my wife. If the piece of chicken that I got in my biryani was oozing blood, it means it was not clean. Th...at also means that all the other pieces could have had the cleaning issue.
Who knows if it was clean and healthy enough to eat.

Another issue that I noticed was the price of Biryani charged was around $27ish. However, the menu stated it as $24.95.

If I am going to such a high priced restaurant that touts to be so upscale, such a basic thing with food hygiene is totally not acceptable.

Recent comments also talk about decline in food quality. Just posting a Sorry next to bad experience Yelp reviews doesn't fix issues. If Mr Bist really wants to understand the feeling of customers, please message them (in this case me) to talk. I will tell you what we really felt. عرض المزيد

Poor quality of food and poorer service by its lazy staff !! Good arrived cold and tasteless plus we had to wait for our drinks for ages.. No water refills .. Servers have schmuck face !! Please do not be spending your money here !
