H.R. 1, the Democrats’ 441-page campaign and election ‘reform’ bill, is actually a partisan political ploy that seeks to silence opposing points of view. Even the ACLU opposes the bill because of the provisions that unconstitutionally undermine the right to free speech.

The right to free speech is a fundamental principle of American Democracy, and requires that people are allowed to communicate on all kinds of issues, both liberal and conservative. H.R.1 also tells states how to run their elections - in strict defiance of states’ rights to determine their elections granted under the Constitution. I support the U.S. Constitution, and had to oppose H.R.1 for that reason.
