This morning KK and JJ has the opportunity to speak to a Sunday School class at Apex United Methodist Church. I couldn't be more proud of her as she shares her story and encourages others. https://youtu.be/KRK8Ewvt5EA

For local friends. Please see the post below. Al is a great guy who is changing his life around. He has helped KK and JJ as they are working on being independent. If you are able to help that would be great!
Dear friends, I am putting a Big Thing out in the universe today on Giving Tuesday. Does anyone have a reliable car that they are willing to sell cheaply (under... $1200) or give to a good cause? It would need to be available about 12/19. My friend and co-worker is getting released from prison on that day and we are trying to help him get set up for life outside prison. He was one of the original members of the ABEL program and has been working as an employee at EENP for over a year while in prison. He is going to continue working at EENP but the housing he has arranged means he will need a car when he gets out. Let me know if you have ideas!
Someone is feeling a little better today! Little med change has helped JJs belly and she is enjoying her new ride. Lots of extra belly rubs for this sweet girl! Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. We appreciate all of them!
Please continue to say prayers for these girls. JJ has tore both her ACLs and the medicine has caused her some belly issues. Last two days have been spent at the vet getting X-rays and fluids today. Changed her meds and hopefully that will help her belly. KK is obviously worried. We are resting her little legs and then plan to start rehab in a few weeks. In the meantime....lots of snuggles!
Please say prayers for sweet JJ. She tore her ACL. We are hoping rest and meds will heal it without surgery. In the meantime she will be pushed around and pampered! Thank you Dr Marty for taking such good care of her!
Please don't take your pet dog out as a service dog. It's can be dangerous to working dogs and in many states illegal. It may also be very stressful for your dog who is untrained in public access skills.
Because there is no certification or official national registry of legitimate service dogs, there is no way to verify whether a dog has undergone rigorous training to become a service animal. (via The Pew Charitable Trusts)
