We always have an intention to rescue our horses and always hold a sacred space of love when they cross over.
It's so important to leave this planet in the energy of love, experiencing love and being held in love and we have done this so many times.
It's emotional for sure but an honour and a privilege and a great gift to give to an animal ... they feel loved as they transition.
This short video captures the essence of that beautifully.
Rainbow bridge ... where all our beloved horses are xxxxx🌈🐴🦄💖
Happy Mothers Day from all horses and ponies at The Animal Healing Trust xxxx💕⭐️🐴🦄
Beautiful spotty pony Ringo is feeling much better after having an abscess on his foot and he's walking fine now ❤️he's happy he is in our top field away from all the mud!
Beautiful healing horse Bailey is in our bottom field that is flooded with water and lots of mud! He's not that bothered though as he is happily eating his lunch then will wander off and much his hay away from the mud 💙
Happy horses xxxxxxx💕🐴🦄💕
Beautiful Ringo hasn't been very well this week and has been limping.
Our lovely vet Gav from 608 has identified an abscess in his foot 😢
It's burst, and been cleaned and he's had magic medicine both from the vet and holistic too.
He has also had daily Reiki healing to help him heal too .
Ringo is recovering well now and we are so pleased. 😊...
We love you Ringo!!! Xxxxxx💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Gorgeous Sunny and his pony family have had a hay delivery again today and yes the hay is bigger than him!!
Snow gone and left with mud and poop to sort out lol !
Gorgeous ponies Sunny Sapphire Sophie and Muffin ... all pretty chubby though which is great for winter ha ha xxxx😆🐴🐴🐴🦄💕❤️💜
After several days of crazy snow the sanctuary is now soggy and muddy as most of the snow has melted!
Dodger wanted lots of hugs today and Oscar and all the others were fed and checked and all ok.
Elderly chestnut Inka is just so gorgeous and loves her 2 coats and extra meals!
Happy horses happy humans xxxx 💕🙏🏻🐴🦄💕🌟
Thank you to our amazing volunteer Luke for feeding all horses and ponies today 💕⛄️🐴and for our wonderful farmer Rob Brain for delivering giant bales of hay!
All the Horses and ponies are now well fed and now have water again and have 24 hour hay!
It's incredibly difficult in these conditions to feed 23 horses.
Love is what drives us 💕🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴🦄🐴💕⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️💕
Snow today at the sanctuary!!!
And our 23 horses and ponies need to be fed and watered!! 💕🐴🦄💕
All the water pipes in the fields are frozen so the horses baths are empty of water so Luke has spent HOURS filling up bottles from our water supply in our portakabin and driving up and down the track filling them all up!!...
That's dedication and love that is ❤️
They have also all been fed now and have their hay 💕🐴🦄💕
We also had a lovely visitor ..., a robin who wanted to help feed the horses and be fed too.
How beautiful ❤️
Massive love to Luke today for his efforts and massive love and warmth to all horses and ponies and all animals in this weather xxxxxxx ❤️
If you wish to donate money for food or hay please do as our 23 horses are eating so much xxxxx
"Hey mann it's snowing! Give me a kiss"
All our horses have their coats on... and some have 2 on to be extra toasty warm!
Love and gratitude for our continued fundraising and donations so we can buy all 23 horses and ponies lots of giant hay bales ....which are in their fields .... so they can continually munch and keep warm with full tummies.
They also enjoy their meals with extra supplements and vitamins during the winter too to keep their strength up....
And thanks to our wonderful volunteers all of our 3 herds now have amazing field shelters so they can choose to shelter from the cold conditions if they wish.
Winter is cold for sure but if you have warm clothes, full tummies of food, good friends to support you and somewhere to shelter all is good in the world.
And that's for all animals and humans!
We all have the same needs.
Sending love out to all in this cold weather
It's cold at the horse sanctuary but gorgeous mini Shetland pony Sunny still has time to impress us with his awesome hair styles!! ❤️🐴🙏🏻xxx
And we have a visitor today!
A gorgeous cat who decided to wait on our picnic bench obviously knowing that someone had donated some cat food which we had no use for but kept it anyway for lovely cat visitors on a cold winters day that need a meal 💕
It may be cold but there's loads of love at the sanctuary today xxxxxx ❤️🐴❤️🦄❤️🐱❤️
Our herd leader Daisy is an incredible horse and she looks after all of her 9 horses in her family very well💖🦄
She is married to handsome brown thoroughbred Alfie 💙🐴 who enjoys playing with his bestest buddy Bailey ❤️
We may have mud and it's cold but the power in being in a herd of horses and feeling safe is so important to horses and ponies 💕🐴💕🐴🦄💕
Just like us humans they all want a family and feel they belong, are accepted, taken care of and supported.
We love them all xxxxxxx💙🙏🏻🌟🐴🦄💕💜
Inka is our oldest resident at the sanctuary now 💕🐴💕
She's in her mid twenties!
Which is amazing considering we rescued her in 2008 with a "disease of the legs" and she was struggling to walk.
We were able to help her with the condition with bio chemistry, herbs, supplements, nutrients and Reiki healing....
She now has no issue walking at all and enjoys a good run ... when it's not muddy!
She is now our Grandma of the herd.
Mind you we don't think she would like that term as she's quite posh!!
We love you Inka!
Sending love to Inka every day xxxx
Thank you to ALL who braved the freezing cold weather today and came to our fundraising event! 💕🐴🦄
We had to abandon our stalls outside and squeeze them all in our Kabin as it was snowing and hail stones! 🌧☃️☔️
The children loved the mud! Ha ha! 😄
And we had to lend some wellies to some folk who came in trainers and shoes and were surprised by all the mud! 👢👢
It wasn't the best conditions to visit us but we decided to do it in winter as it shows what we do to look after our b...eautiful 23 rescue horses and ponies every day 365 days of the year ❤️🐴🦄🌟🙏🏻
They are all happy, healthy, warm and safe with full tummies so we are happy 💕🐴🦄
Thank you to all of you who came AND to all our volunteers who braved the weather too 💕
We raised £890 so we are delighted!
Thank you so much everyone 🙏🏻💕
See you in the summer with the sunshine🌞🐴🦄💕xxxxxx
So it's raining again today and tomorrow and hopefully dry for our Mini open day Sunday .
Please be aware we have LOTS of MUD!!
It's everywhere you walk.
We are in the country with clay soil so it's on the paths as well as Fields....
This is fun!
So if you're coming Sunday just wear wellies and old clothes and plenty of layers to keep warm and dry.
You will see first hand the conditions that we and the horses cope with during these winter months and help us raise money in the meantime xxx
It's our Open Day Sunday ... after we cancelled our last one at Christmas due to snow!
We have some white flakes here so hope we don't have to cancel it again lol xxx💕🐴🦄💕
