I wanted to post this amazing opportunity! The Internet Freedom Festival (IFF) just extended its deadline for proposals to November 19th. This year, I'm helping with building the program & reviewing applications focused on policy, research & advocacy so I'd love to see applications from all of you! As someone who has attended before, the IFF (like ANOX) is a unique experience to meet passionate (and super fun) people from around the world working on issues such ...as digital rights, freedom from censorship and surveillance, and privacy. Through their Diversity and Inclusion Fund, presenters from underrepresented communities can apply to receive travel funding.

A bit of background: The IFF takes place every year in Valencia, Spain. It is considered one of the largest and most diverse inclusive gatherings in the Internet Freedom space. It brings together over 1000 people from +100 countries, to join forces against online censorship and surveillance. People in attendance includes activists, technologists, digital security trainers, journalists, designers, policy advocates, and much more. The goal of this one-of-a-kind gathering is to allow people to share knowledge and resources, and collectively improve the services, strategies, and tools offered to individuals on the frontlines.
