LISTEN to me, then Naomi, interacting with a Celebration representative. Mostly us, but he kept shaking his head at us as if what were saying wasn't true about ...their own policy (see linked in comment below.) They don't want to be held accountable for their own public anti-LGBTQIA+ policy, but the truth is clear. It doesn't matter what they say during service, the real harm is in the policy, and in the evil things they tell LGBTQIA+ individuals about needing to be heteronormative and cisgender to earn God's love. This is spiritual & emotional abuse and it has no place in AISD, public school property.
