We all know about the honor system, especially when it comes to Halloween candy. But, this screen grab from a Facebook post may show a mom disregarding that golden rule and showing her kids it's okay to do the same. Tiffany Fredericks of Lansingburgh posted the video taken from her security camera. In it, you can see what appears to be a costumed female adult with two children walking up to the house. She grabs some candy from the basket on the porch. Then grabs more and more. When that's not enough, she simply dumps the rest of the sugary goodies into the kids Halloween bags. The video has been viewed 157k times! And, with plenty of outraged comments too. I am posting the photo that would least identify these children. So, what are YOUR thoughts on this "Tricky" Treat situation?

Marking 9th Anniversary of Jaliek Rainwalker's Disappearance

12 year old Jaliek Rainwalker was reportedly last seen at his adoptive grandparent's Greenwich home on November 1st 2007. At the time, his adoptive father Stephen Kerr told police he had spent the night alone with Jaliek at his father's home and woke up the next morning to find a goodbye note. On the day he was reported missing, Jaliek was scheduled to be returned to a respite foster family. News10ABC confirmed that... Kerr and his wife Jocelyn McDonald were attempting to rescind their state adoption of Jaliek- citing his violent behavior.

Kerr and his wife suggested that Jaliek, who is bi-racial, ran off to join an Albany gang. Police ruled out running away or suicide after an extensive search and what investigators called inconsistencies in Kerr's story. He was named a Person of Interest in the case in 2008, after police revealed that Kerr's van was captured on security camera video driving through Greenwich at the time he told police he was asleep, with Jaliek in the other room. Stephen Kerr has maintained his innocence, even after refusing a polygraph test. The one family member who has consistently struggled to find out what happened to the missing child is his adoptive grandmother Barbara Reeley (Jocelyn McDonald's mother) who was even arrested after allegedly stealing a fleece jacket from the family's rustic home, believing it was evidence.
Kerr and his wife have since moved to Vermont.

So, what happened to Jaliek? Several sightings never panned out and the case seems to have grown cold. If you have any information please call the Canbridge-Greenwich Police Department at 518-692-9332

So sad. This man was doing his job when he lost his life. My condolences to his family, friends, co-workers and fellow volunteer firefighters in Canajoharie. This is a tragic reminder to move over when passing all vehicles responding to disabled vehicles or emergencies.

M. W. Roosevelt & Son, Inc. a.k.a. Roosevelt's Towing & Recovery

We'd like to thank everyone that, once again, reached out to us at a time of loss. We cannot convey enough our appreciation and gratitude to all of you here on ...FB, our community, friends, business associates and most especially to those in our industry that gather together when one of our own is taken from us.
*****************************************************************************************
I'm finding it hard to put into words what I feel we should say to inform our friends and colleagues.
We lost a good man this morning. It wasn't just Roosevelt's that lost a good man. It was an entire community. He was a family man, a co-worker, employee and he served his community as a volunteer fireman with the Canajoharie Fire Department. His name was James Homkey. aka Jamie.
He was doing his job. His part time job as a tow truck operator for us. A simple tow off of a disabled vehicle. He was off the shoulder to the right of the white line. He had the bed of the flatbed tilted getting ready to winch the vehicle up on to the bed. He was struck by a tractor trailer that crossed the white line. This happened @6:30 this morning. The investigation is ongoing, but the number one take away from this tragedy is something you've seen on this page numerous times
MOVE OVER.
You see anyone or anything stopped or slowed along side the road. ANY road. MOVE OVER. It takes a special kind of arrogance to think that you are in total control and that you own that part of the highway and you have the "right" to it. That's not how it works.
A family....a whole community is grieving the loss of one of their own. Please take a minute to say a prayer for all, and to reflect on how many times you've passed something or someone along side the road. Did you give room, or did you just drive by on your way to your life?
RIP, Jamie.
You will be missed by all of us. <3

A Waterford is man facing charges after police say he was passed out with his infant son in his car.

Colonie Police tell News10ABC they responded to a call on Saturday from a passerby who noticed Alvaro Uruchima passed out inside his parked car outside a hair salon on Louden Road. Also inside the car say police, Uruchima's 7 month old baby boy. Colonie Police say they arrested the 24 year old from Waterford after they allegedly found several bags of heroin in his pocket. Uruc...hima was charged with Acting In A Manner Injurious To A Child and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. The baby was handed over to a family member. The arrest sounds eerily similar to recent stories from across the country in which parents have been found passed out or dead with their children nearby. One particularly tragic story was of an unconscious mother and her crying child who were captured by shoppers cellphones as the mom lay in a store aisle. On Monday, police in Pennsylvania discovered the bodies of 2 parents whom they believe died of a drug overdose after their 7-year-old daughter told school officials she couldn't wake them up.

Panda, the kitten that was mistakenly adopted out by MHHS to another family is returned to its foster family. Here are pics of the reunion T.J. Hiemel had with his kitten Panda. Hiemel had made a heartfelt plea to the family that adopted Panda after a mistake at the shelter. The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society has apologized and accepted responsibility over an error in which the foster kitten (at the shelter for neutering) was adopted out to another family. That was even after T.J. Hiemel (foster family) expressly told MHHS staff of their intention to adopt the cat. Panda's new owners saw our story on News10ABC and decided to return the cat to T..J and his family tiring this into one happy Cat Tale!!

Police: 13 and 15 year old steal SUV & pickup, wipe out porch and metal fence

Menands Police tell News10ABC that they have arrested two Albany juveniles after the pair went on an early morning joyride that ended with serious property damage.

Chief Michael O'Brien tells me that the boys ages 13 and 15 stand accused of stealing at least 2 vehicles. The first alleged theft was of an SUV near the Tovoli Park Apartments in...
Albany around 3am. Chief O'Brien alleges the pair then drove the stolen vehicle to Menands where they then stole a Ford pickup. Around 3:30am a Menands Police officer pulled over the 15 year old driver of the stolen
SUV, but O'Brien says the 13 year old driver of the pickup continued on into
the city of Watervliet. O'Brien says the pickup was not being pursued and was not known to have been stolen at the time the SUV was pulled over. However, he says the inexperienced and small in stature operator of the truck (who likely had a tough time seeing over the steering wheel) proceeded to tear through Watervliet city streets and sidewalks, obliterating a front porch, tearing apart a chain link fence and damaging a handful of cars before coming to a stop.
O'Brien says the teens were arrested, facing charges in Family Court. They were turned over to their parents and guardians. He says it's pure luck nobody was injured or worse.

Colonie Police say they arrested 53 year old Carmen Cicarelli of Latham after complaints from mall shoppers at Colonie Center. Police say female shoppers using the LL Bean entrance could clearly see Cicarelli masturbating inside his blue Mazda 3 as they made their way to and from the parking lot.
Police say they arrested the 6'4 naked Cicarelli on the spot. He was charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
