Arabs from around the world committed to Black liberation and grounded in the necessity of shared struggle among oppressed & Indigenous peoples globally.
#Arabs4BlackPower is a group of artists, academics, mothers, fathers, students, refugees, and community organizers with ties to Arabic-speaking regions, declare... our unwavering solidarity with the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL). We fully and wholeheartedly endorse the policy demands put forth by the US-based Movement for Black Lives Platform and its transnationalist vision for Black power, freedom and justice. We join the M4BL in reiterating the necessity of shared struggle and collective liberation ofoppressed and Indigenous people globally. For liberation to be real and genuine, we all need to get free.
The current iteration of the movement to end the war and genocide against Black people in the US is rooted in centuries of the Black freedom struggle. As we commemorate the month of Black August and its history of radical resistance, we as #Arabs4BlackPower commit to amplifying the rebellions of Black and Indigenous people in the settler-colonies of the Americas; and to joining in the fight against white supremacy, patriarchy, and hyper-militarized late capitalism.
To this end, we commit ourselves to combating anti-Blackness wherever we find it in our communities—both within the boundaries of the US as immigrant-settlers complicit in white supremacy, as well as in Arabic-speaking regions where socio-historically distinct forms of discrimination against Black Arabs intersect with other forms of marginalization along the lines of gender, religion, ethnicity, skin color, language, and sexual orientation to name a few.
From Ferguson to Palestine: we will work for liberation. To everyone building towards the Movement for Black Lives:

إننا ندعم سياسة الحركة ومطالبها قلباً وقالباً، بكل ما تحملُه منصّتها من مساعٍ وأفكار رائدة حول العدالة، والحريّة والقوة للسود. ونشارككم الرأي حول ضرورة توحد نضال المقموعين والسكان الأصليين حول العالم، لعلمنا أنه لن يكون التحرير حقيقياً إلا إن كان شاملاً للجميع
تَوجُّه حركة السود ضد الأنظمة العنصرية في الولايات المتحدة يطالب بإنهاء الإبادة الجماعية والحرب المستمرة التي تشنّها حكومة الولايات المتحدة ضد السود، هذا التوجه يعود لقرون من الصراع من أجل الحريّة. ومع نهاية شهر آب الذي نحتفل فيه بهذا التاريخ الحافل بالمقاومة، نؤكد أننا مساندون لقوتكم، مجددين إلتزامنا بإعلاء ثوراتكم وثورات السكان الأصليين ضد أنظمة الإستعمار الإستيطاني الأمريكي؛ وننضم لكم في مقاومتكم للفوقية العرقية/هيمنة البيض، والسلطة الذكورية، والرأسمالية المسلّحة
وبناءاً عليه، نلتزم بمحاربة أيّ اضطهاد للسود أينما نجده ضمن مجتمعاتنا، في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكيّة، فنحن أيضاً مهاجرين مُستوطنين، وشُركاء في الفوقية العرقية وهيمنة البيض. وفي المناطق العربيّة، حيث تتلاقى أشكال التمييز التاريخي الاجتماعي ضدّ العرب السود مع غيرها من أشكال التهميش على أسس النوع الجنسي (الجندر) والدين والعِرْق ولون الجلد واللغة والتوجّه الجنسي وغيرها.

Arabes pour le Black Power est un groupe d' artistes, universitaires, mères, pères, étudiants, réfugiés et organisateurs communautaires avec des liens aux régions de langue arabe, proclamons notre solidarité sans faille avec le Mouvement pour la Vie des Noirs (Movement for Black Lives, M4BL). Nous appuyons pleinement et sans réserve les revendications de la plate-forme, basée aux États-Unis, du Mouvement pour la Vie des Noirs et sa vision transnationale du pouvoir, de la liberté et de la justice pour les Noirs. Nous vous rejoignons pour redire la nécessité d’un combat commun et d’une libération collective de tous les peuples opprimés et autochtones, globalement. Pour que la libération soit réelle et authentique, nous devons tous être libérés.
La version actuelle du mouvement appelant à mettre un terme à la guerre et au génocide contre les Noirs aux États-Unis est ancrée dans des siècles de combats pour la liberté des Noirs. Alors que nous commémorons le mois d’août noir (Black August) et son histoire de résistance radicale, nous #Arabs4BlackPower nous engageons à amplifier les rebellions des peuples noirs et autochtones dans les colonies des Amériques et à rejoindre le combat contre la suprématie blanche, le patriarcat et le capitalisme tardif hyper-militarisé.
Pour cela, nous nous engageons à combattre le racisme anti-noir où qu’il soit dans nos communautés —à la fois à l’intérieur des États-Unis comme immigrants complices de la suprématie blanche, et dans les régions de langue arabe où des formes de discrimination socio-historiquement distinctes contre les Arabes noirs recoupent d’autres formes de marginalisation liées au genre, à la religion, à l’ethnie, à la couleur de peau, à la langue et à l’orientation sexuelle, pour en nommer quelques-unes.
De Ferguson à la Palestine, nous travaillerons à la libération. À chaque personne construisant le Mouvement pour la Vie des Noirs (Movement for Black Lives), nous disons :
Nous vous voyons. Nous vous entendons. Nous sommes à vos côtés.
