Friends, we are really called to take care of one another. We are called to treat others with the same mercy and compassion that we want for ourselves. If we want life for ourselves, then we need to defend life for others at every stage; we need to protect especially those who are too weak to protect themselves.
Archbishop José H. Gomez updated their cover photo.
Friends, to respect life, we need to know the truth about life — and for that we need Jesus Christ. #OneLifeLA #MadeForGreater
Friends, let us ask our Blessed Mother Mary, Mother of God and our mother, may she help us, all of us, to know — the greater things that we are made for, and the precious love that God has for every life, for each one of us and for every single human person.
Friends, we need to realize that Jesus is speaking to you. He is speaking to me. He wants great things for each one of us! But we have to hear his voice, we have to listen.
Friends, nobody likes to talk about the sad reality of abortion in our society — but we must! For too long, abortion has been an “everyday evil” in this country — and indeed, in every country.
Friends, because our lives are different, the way we are called to follow Christ will be different. There are many paths, many callings. But the call of Jesus is always a call to share in his mission.
Archbishop José H. Gomez updated their profile picture.
Friends, Jesus is calling each one of you to follow him in the ordinary circumstances of your daily lives — in your homes and families, in your professional work, in all of your contributions to the economic, cultural and political life of our society. In your ordinary daily life.
Friends, we come to Jesus looking for answers. But our Lord, he does not give us the answers. He tells us instead — that he is the answer.
Archbishop José H. Gomez added 24 new photos to the album: OneLife LA 2018.
Friends, let us praise the God of Life! And let us celebrate the beautiful works for life and human dignity that we are doing in our communities.
Friends, we remember and weep for the lives that have been lost this year. These lives that never even had the chance to be born.

Friends, America was founded on a truth — the great moral truth that all men and women are created equal and are born with God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Roe v. Wade turned this beautiful truth inside out.
Archbishop José H. Gomez shared OneLife LA's video.
Friends, life is beautiful and life is sacred! This is what we celebrated in OneLife LA! Slowly it is growing — this movement of love! And each one of us has a part to play.

Amigos, el llamado de Jesús es simple y hermoso. En realidad, son sólo esas dos palabras las que nos dice “¡Sígueme!”. En cierto sentido, el significado de nuestras vidas se mide por la forma en que respondemos a esas dos palabras.
Friends, the call of Jesus is simple and beautiful. It is really only those two words that he speaks to us "Follow me!" In a sense, the meaning of our lives is measured by how we respond to those two words.
