🌿✨I'm having so much fun with these ornaments! They remind me of my 3D mandala paintings✨🍃
✨I like to work on the floor a lot, with my most used materials spread around me within reach. It usually scares people away from entering my studio because they're fearful of stepping on something.... oops! In-progress works are often observed from the doorway instead 🙈I also love using my diffuser when I'm in the creative zone🌼

🌀Well, here goes... while this painting wasn’t made in his memory the process of getting back into my art has really helped me begin healing after the recent loss of my dear Grandad. Almost every person I met throughout the tough couple weeks said “Oh, you’re the artist!” within moments of introducing myself. Grandad loved to show everyone he knew my most recent projects, and always quietly encouraged me to not only use my creativity but to share it with the world. Friday was the first time in weeks that I made something, and I started three paintings! He was definitely with me as I welcomed back my creative spirit and the long awaited sunshine. This painting is titled “Correlation” for the interconnectedness of the spirt realm and our own🌞🌟
thank you to @karim_designs for the title suggestion. It really resonated with me!🌼

Reflection is a mega part of my process. I spend at least as much time staring at my work as I do physically painting it! Taking the time to look and listen to my painting always makes for a piece I’m happier with at the end. Don’t rush your life, don’t rush your art🌀🌿😊
