Go every year, work permitting. Just like others, I get excited when I hear it's almost time for the festival. That corn and tamales!!! I live for them!! Love them so much! I love seeing all the di...fferent crafts and things. But most of all, I love spending the time with my wife away from home and electronics! I look forward to it every year!! See More

I live in Statesville. This was my first year going. My favorite part was the music at the Bicentennial stage. I enjoyed walking around during the festival and seeing all of the art and culture has to offer. I plan to come back as much as possible. See More

This was our second year going to the festival. Everything was great. Bounce Houses for the kids, face painting, arts & crafts, and especially all the food varieties.

Awesome family fun.................................
Come on out! It’s a misty but great morning for crafts and food!

Come out to the 47th Asheboro Fall Festival on October 6 & 7, 2018 from 9 am - 5 pm, both days, located in Downtown Asheboro, NC. You will find the food court in Bicentennial Park this year, and the street festival will feature arts & crafts, information booths, "craft food" vendors, and commercial vendors from Salisbury Street to Academy St, along with Sunset to Worth Street (from Church St to Cox St). Keep an eye on and our FB page for up to the minute updates and announcements. Hope to see you all there!

We are transitioning into a new system, and we appreciate everyone's patience in dealing with these changes. I will personally answer this one concern: there is a reason why we have decided to jury all vendors. Simply put, we recognize that nonprofits and informations booths, along with commercial booths are not accustomed to undergoing a jury system. Unfortunately, in years past with the Asheboro Fall Festival in particular, we experienced an "anything goes" kind of festi...val application. And we are trying to win back the Asheboro Fall Festival back into our hometown. For example, we felt that some "information" booths were actually simply selling commercial products, and should have been in a commercial vendor booth. Not everyone presents as a challenge. The purpose of the jury system is to ensure that everyone is playing by the rules set forth. This is to make sure that individuals who try and play the system do not ruin it for others. Thank you, Greta for a good question, however, we continue to try and return the festival back into our Asheboro roots. I do ask folks to give the changes a chance before automatically assuming that the changes are ill-concieved and not meticulously thought-out beforehand. We have seen a lot through the years and this festival has a real chance at a huge success for future years.
