Atlanta Public Schools is pleased that the Atlanta City Council voted yesterday to transfer 31 of the 52 deeds to APS and we thank Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms for her leadership. We look forward to continuing to work with the City of Atlanta Government to receive the remaining deeds.
Yesterday, APS hosted a press conference to address concerns about safety and security due to the tragic Parkland, Florida school shooting. Take a moment to watch the press conference and/or view the Safety and Security Procedures Fact Sheet.
