I purchased the Molokai SUP board (green) online as a gift for my wife. I live in Bunbury WA and they were sold out in Bunbury store therefore I had purchased for pick up at the Joondalup store. Payme...nt went through, I received an order confirmation and the next day I received a text saying it was ready for collection. I headed to the Joondalup store travelling approximately 250km to get there and when I arrived the Customer Service Manager (Ben) told me that it was not available and that for some unknown reason it was marked as a cancelled order on their system even though they received the payment. This was very upsetting for my wife, especially after I had already purchased accessories for the board. This situation is extremely disappointing particularly seeing how much business I have given to BCF over the years. I was told that there were no other boards available and that they will not get any in until the end of the year (it is March now). I asked if they could get some from the eastern states as online showed that there were many available. The store said they can’t do this. To appease us the store offered to refund the cost of the board and offer another cheaper board from the store for free. When the board was brought out it was covered in dents and other defects (obviously one that has been on display for quite some time). We decided not to take the board as it was so damaged and not what we wanted and paid for however the receipt given to us actually shows that we took the board (another mistake). Very disappointing BCF, you were extremely efficient at taking my money from my account online, but did not have the decency to contact us, but instead we spent a day driving up and back, spoiling a gift and spoiling our weekend. Fantastic service at the Tsv domain Bcf today. I was disappointed for only a moment today when I asked the man if he could get a survival kit out of the glass cabinet for me. Last wk it was only $59, ...but the sale had ended unbeknown to me & back to original price of nearly $200. He then did something so amazing & offered it still to me for the sale price! I was thinking about it for days so I was so overjoyed I could still get it for the sale price! I felt a bit sad for a moment afterwards again but, when my 18 yr old son was playing with the knife out of the kit & commented how nice it was! I'm truly in love with every piece & used the leatherman half hr later to unscrew my car light indicator to replace a bulb! Thank you to this very kind man! Will only shop at this bcf onwards. I need to say a big thank you to your awesome staff at BCF Noosaville, Tony Mel & team for helping me resolve an issue with my Lowrance Elite 7Ti warranty. After months of troubleshooting my new trans...ducer with Lowrance their support became frustrating ( and potentially costly as I was asked to pay for a whole new unit )... your team saw this wast a fair resolution and escalated it through your upper management and in less than 2 weeks I have just received my replacement sounder.

This is the type of customer service that keeps your customers loyal ( and the Mrs onside letting me spend more money on fishing and boating gear ).

Thanks again team Noosaville - see you at the members night next week!

I just wanted to share my first shopping experience at BCF. The item I wanted just so happened to be half price in the current catalogue. So I jumped online and realized BCF has Afterpay. I thought was pretty amazing in itself! So I placed an order online and was advised that I could pickup in store within 2 hours of placing order. Really?!! Amazing! I received the phone call from my local Innisfail store in less than 1 hour since placing the order that it was ready to pick up. The lady that phoned was cheerful and friendly. Great store and awesome customer service!! See More

They've got some great products, knowledgeable staff but they just need to keep an eye on some of their prices as somethings are a bit steep. Shame too they're owned by the same company as Anaconda an...d Supercheap because they do have a monopoly on price matching their "competitors".... I've asked a few times and if it's a product from any of those 3 mentioned, they don't have to match because they all have their own brands even though they're often the same products from the same overseas suppliers but just in different packaging.....come on guys, we the consumer are not THAT silly ! I bought a $99 gazebo from Derwent Park today for our relay for life event happening today. It was faulty. We called the store and they could not have been more helpful! They upgraded us for free and ...allowed one of our team to collect the new one on her way to the event even though we were unable to send to old one back until tomorrow. Absolutely above and beyond even offering to deliver the new one when he finished work! Thank you. See More

Tonight I attended in my opinion the best “club night” one of your shops have ever hosted.
The management at your pakenham base deserve a round of applause. Well thought out, well co ordinated and fe...atured topics of actual interest to local fisherman.
Either you have changed your tune on how these evenings are run or the guys here have raised the bar for the rest! Because if I must, previous club events have not been worth the time!.

Just wanted to give a shout out to one of the managers at Campbelltown. I think his name is Mark? He helped us today with a light up fishing rod for my 4 year old and some camping stuff. Love how his... so easy to understand, knows his products and so helpful. His customer service is rare in the retail industry these days. See More

Not one to leave poor reviews, however after my experience with BCF Modbury, SA; disappointed is an understatement.

Purchased a Century Deep Cycle Battery from BCF Mount Barker last boxing day, which... turned out faulty on my first time using it which I understand isn't their fault.

Returned the battery to Modbury store on 16th Feb as it was closest at this time, never heard anything from them. I called back on the 3rd of April, Assistant Manager arranged for the Century rep to apparently come out within 24hr and that he would call me back with an answer.

It's now a further 9 days on-top of the original 47 days since dropping my battery off with them and not heard a thing.

I've been on 3 trips away since then and had to fork out the money for a new battery to run my power set-up.

Went to the Rockingham WA store on the weekend where I am a fairly frequent shopper .They have always given me great service and good prices. To be honest I came away a little disappointed this time, I purchased a Waeco 65L fridge/freezer that was on special for members. I was asked if I'd like to pay a bit more and get the cover to which I said of course and then found there were none in stock. The next day I asked if one was ordered in would I still get the special order price but was told no, I'd have to pay full price. This was very frustrating as everyone I know purchases the cover when buying the unit (highly recommended for its thermal qualities) so why weren't there enough covers for the stock held? Our son said he's not known of anyone just being offered the base unit only on offer, there are always additional items, usually the bag at the reduced price. Put a big dampener on the purchase. Recently had some issues getting a replacement part for a gazebo. The staff at Shepparton BCF (particularly the 2 young ladies) were extremely helpful and obliging. They went to great lengths to obtai...n the part and eventually it all worked out. Well done staff at Shepparton BCF and the 2 female staff members (I have forgotten their names). I would love to tell people what I think about BCF. Your online customer service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced! i will never buy from this company again, If I ever get my order deliver...ed (to Adelaide) - if it gets back from Darwin where your incredibly inept Courier company shipped it, from Adelaide. Your customer enquiry operators whilst nice to talk to are inept and would not answer my questions adequately or address the problem! I have had to contact the courier company myself as BCF refused to follow up as requested! I am sick of being fobbed off!

Very disappointed in your customer service in your Elizabeth store. Went in today 3 sales people standing around talking no-one acknowledged we entered. Went looking for what we wanted again no help f...rom your staff so we decided we will go elsewhere. We were going to buy a few items which included air mattress with pump and a little generator. So far not overly impressed, order over 200$ worth of kit get an email confirming the order then get another showing only 50$ worth of it and a thing that due to stocking order has to be split, that's... fine except you should STILL show my full order not just the 50$ that you've shipped on my account page. When I rang the 1300 number I spoke with Karen who checked my order and told me that yeah the Rod and Reel where still on it but they'd been handed off to I believe some other store due to 'Online' not having it (Despite you saying it was in stock) and that I should have a confirmation email by the end of day as my order was already 20hrs old at that point. that was yestarday its not 10am the next day and Still nothing. Add to that the order parts you HAVE confirmed are according to Australia Post still sitting awaiting pick up .. how hard is it to take something down to the post office? Easter is coming and I'd like to be able to go fish, but the way things are going I might have my tackle but I won't have my bloody rod and reel because so far I've not even got evidence that you're sending it.. your order etc says 48 hrs.. that gives you 10 hrs at that point I'll be on the phone first thing wednesday. If you want to keep customers you REALLY need to start looking at your handling of orders and the like NOT TO MENTION your Websites marked as NON SECURE by chrome. Update your SSL certification. I have just started buying my own fishing gear, so I went in to BCF Coburg to have a look. There I was served by the lovely Nicole, who was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the whole experienc...e a lot less daunting. Nothing was too much trouble and I learnt so much. When I told Nicole where I was going fishing, she got another store member who fishes a lot in that area to offer advice on fishing tackle and bait. I came away very happy with my purchases and my shopping experience and will definitely be going back to BCF Coburg. A very big thank you to Nicole. See More

Lethargic sales woman cost me time and money. I called BCF Mornington to check availability of an identical chair that I had purchased the previous day which was on sale for $50 and I was told by a fe...male "customer service" person that the chair was now SOLD OUT, the closest 100 stores didn't have any either and the line was discontinued so they would never get any more. So, as I really wanted the chair to match the one we had previously purchased, I ordered it on line with BCF and paid over $90 for the chair. The next day I visited the Mornington BCF store again to purchase a different item and strolling past the chairs, low and behold there were a dozen of the exact chair I had enquired about the day before! When I asked the guy on staff about it he told me they had been there for days! The guy was VERY helpful and apologetic. To add insult to injury the apathetic sales woman I had spoken to originally was there too, she offered no apology, instead spoke to me with indignant distain and even pressured me TWICE to make a donation to the fishing charity they are collecting for! BCF feel free to ask your incompetant and rude sales woman to DONATE $40 to me, the money she cost me due to her care factor of 0, feel free to let me know when I can drop in to collect it! See More
