I held an event at the Convention Center and outside gazebo area this last weekend. We had to vacuum the carpet prior to decorating, had to mop the dance floor as it turned my toddler's feet black, an...d there was a mountain of trash bags next to the park area where the wedding was taking place.

After the reception was over, the maintenance/janitor was supposed to turn off the air conditioner and lock up, but instead he helped himself to a few of my things that we were told we could retrieve in the morning. The employee admitted to me that he had stolen my things. At that point the police were called. He also admitted to the police that he stole my things. I declined to press charges as all my items were recovered from him in black trash backs that he attempted to conceal them in.

The general manager was notified immediately of the situation by the night auditor. The manager did not contact me for over 36 hours. When she did contact me, there was no apology offered, and no attempt to correct or to rectify the situation. Her only concern was that I had "blasted" the establishment on social media, from a post I had placed on my personal FB page after I had been admitted to by the thief that he had stolen from me.

Rudely and sarcastically the "general manager" assured me that the "employee" was "reprimanded and suspended for a week". Ummm he committed a crime against not only myself, but he also took plates, and a comforter that belonged to his "employer" that I could potentially be charged for, but I thankfully reported all the items to YPD and fortunately they were recovered.

When the Best Western Corporate office was contacted I found that the Miners Inn Convention center is not affiliated with the Best Western Franchise as it is privately owned.

When I then called the Miners Inn Best Western front desk to get the owner/company's contact information to speak to them directly regarding the incident, she stated she did not know, did not have the information and could not give me any contact information for the owning entity. She could only offer me the general manager's email.

I recently when to a wedding there and there were a huge pile of trash bags right next to where the wedding was being held! Also wedding party and friends had to help clean the even room bc it was not... clean when they got there! Also cleaning people also knocked on the wedding party's rooms first thing in the morning, even thou they had not signs for wanting their room cleaned! Also one of there employs stole cake, balloons, and sheets and plates from the even room!! See More

Nice place to stay. Little cool in mornings, 37* today. Comfortable and quiet and roomy rooms, King bed was nice and easy to sleep on. Breakfast was great with lots of selections to chose from. WI...FI was a bit week and keeps dropping. Easy access from I-5, if you blink you will drive right past it. It comes up really quick. See More

we have stayed here before & were very pleased. This time, the only difference was the room I booked after even calling the hotel directly twice from the bay area, was NOT the room that was available. t...he entire complex is undergoing renovations, and despite we didnt quite get what we wanted,,our room was very clean & spacious, more so than the first time we stayed..Now we came up to Oregon from there, and are planning to stay again on our return trip next week. I do hope the room I was PROMISED will b the room that we will get. We shall see! See More

No complaints. Well cleaned, lots of space, quiet even though we had a room along the freeway side, dog friendly, courteous, and breakfast even does the trick.

Highly recommend this hotel. Such a wonderful place to stay! I have stayed there for Conferences the last 4 years. Nice rooms, great staff (always pleasant and helpful), good food for continental brea...kfast (lots to choose from). We stayed in the the king suite last time and there was plenty of room. Staff went out of there way to obtain my pillow that I left in the room & housekeeping had it locked up safely. They obtained the key and after I returned from dinner they had it sitting at the counter for me Thankyou. You make guests feel like they are important! See More

Great room for the price, all amenities were outstanding and the staff was cordial. The only hold back I had was , could not take a dip in the pool in Janruary, pool was ice. Lol

The rooms are spacious, the view is amazing. The hot breakfast is hot and plentiful and the morning/graveyard staff are amazing!! Olivia bent over backwards getting me checked out, points on my account... and reserved my room for another month . All with a big smile ,a patience I myself do not possess, and during the breakfast rush.!! Going back for another 28 days on business. I hope that this experience will put you at 5 stars!! See More

Horrible. My room had broken furniture, bad air conditioner, and the pillows on the bed were shaped like basketballs, round and hard - totally useless. They brought in another old chair to replace the... broken one. It was stored in a room close to mine that looked like a junk pile of old mattresses and broken furniture. Not like any Best Western I've stayed in before. I complained and Manager blew it off. Stay away. Zero stars. See More

Very nice properpty... our 1st floor room had a slider that opened to an unfenced patio with lawn. The room itself was large with flat screen TV and comfortable beds. Our check in was made super quick... by the receptionists, and in the morning, checkout was fast as well. We'll be staying again on our next trip north! See More

The property is beautiful. the staff is very competent and helpful although they feel fairly restricted by their management. I personally believe that they need to learn how to manage the property m...ore than they do manage to guests. I.E. the ice maker is been broken for 6 months and if you have a handicap you're going to have to ask somebody else to retrieve your ice. I can say that I personally know all of the management, like them but do believe that they really do need to learn how to do customer service. it is definitely not there from the management!!!!!!!!!! Very nice room. Clean, nice to have a sink separate from the shower. Fridge, microwave. Comfy beds. This room for 3 of us was less than $100 and could easily go for over $200 in a bigger city

Clean and well tended, even with the obvious remodeling going on. The room was well appointed, and the bed was wonderful. No complaints about anything. Well done.
