Just a quick note as there have been a few inquiries recently.
I shut my web page down temporarily as it was not up to date and I don't have the time to update it right now. Also I am not going to be accepting any further orders at this time.
Stay tuned as I will be keeping this page up to date and will let everyone know when I start accepting orders again.
Thanks for all the support everyone has given to Badfish Decoys!!!

If the Iceman can't retrieve ducks, we have to find something to keep him busy.
a little raw video of some geese in a field at 5 PM this afternoon. I was going out to set up some blind locations. I needed to wait till most of the geese left before walking out. I filmed the remaining 10 percent that let me walk up on them. How many??? Count their feet and divide by 2

Thanks for all the recent likes!!! It has been a tough season and I have neglected this page for awhile. I will try to get some new decoy photos up later today.

I was pleased to be invited to the LL Bean's 22'd Annual Hunting Expo this weekend and I will be conducting a seminar on seaduck hunting on Sunday afternoon. If you are in the Freeport Maine area this weekend stop by, say hi and take in a seminar or two. The leaves are changing, there is a lot going on at Bean's this weekend and it should be a great event:…/do…/140901_HuntingExpo2014_webrr.pdf

Good Friend John Steadman of Point to Point Outfitters in LINY has been crushing the late season Bills. This pic says everything a diver hunter cant explain... Hopefully it will help me get through the offseason. Great Pic John!!!

Today we had a little visitor in the layout boat! Chip Thompson and I had a chance to gun after my clients finished and this is what happened why I tried to film Chip!

On behalf of everyone at Badfish Decoys (ok, just me and the Iceman...) have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving

I got this pic today from my buddy Joey Clams. Nice work boys, getting a couple seaducks before this storm sets in.

I truly feel honored when a customer/friend requests that I create a lasting memory for them with a working decoy urn of their departed companions. I am working on several of these decoys for a couple guys right now. I like to think that all my decoys are made with pride, but I know that I always put a little extra into these blocks.
I set ashes from two dogs today into their decoys. Without sounding mushy, it is a tough process and I can't help but think about the lives of the dogs, the retrieves they made and how much pleasure they had brought to their families. I can only hope that my work is up to half the standards that these wonderful pooches lived by.
After leaving the shop today, I came upon two awesome pieces of Oak that will be keeled up on the recent urns. It cost a little more, but it is so worth it.

To all the Badfish Friends who are serving or have served, Thanks you for your dedication and commitment to our freedom. Enjoy your day!!! You earned it!!!

Music: Green Fields of France by the Dropkick Murphy's. I do not own the music and this is not a commercial venture.

FYI, Ice's mommy is having a second litter this November. The stud is well mannered and a magnificent hunter. The pups should be wonderful. If anyone is looking for a great pup. She threw both Blacks and yellows in her first litter. Let me know and I will put you in touch with the breeder.

I have a good friend looking for a small 4 stroke outboard (6hp to 9.9). He would prefer a long shaft... (insert joke here...) in the New England area. Anyone with a kicker they aren't using, let me know and I will connect you with him. Thanks
