Diversity Fest '17 is coming to the Bankstown Campus on Thursday, September 28 between 11am and 2:30pm.
The Bankstown Student Campus Council will be on hand to give you information about the 'Future of the Bankstown Campus' and promoting the National Union of Students Welfare Department's Student Housing Survey. We'll also have devices at our stall for you to fill out the survey with.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
As you know, we have been attempting to gather information the past few weeks on how students feel about the recent announcement that our campus will be moving to two new locations within the next five years.
A group of students on the Bankstown Campus are conducting a survey on this very issue for an assessment, and we would appreciate it if you would go and fill out their survey....
Thank you everyone, and we'll have more news for you soon.
Tomorrow we had hoped to bring you a Stress-Less event involving the Delta Dogs Society. Regrettably, this event will no longer be going ahead due to a lack of available volunteers for the day.
We're sorry to have let you down in this way, but we hope to be able to make it up to you at Diversity Fest, which will take place on September 28 on the Bankstown Campus....
Thank you for your understanding.
This is what we should be expecting of our Uni. Do you agree?

The Bankstown Student Campus Council (BSCC) will be hosting two open forums regarding the future of Western Sydney University at Bankstown.
Tuesday, August 29
11 AM - 1 PM...
Wednesday, August 30
11 AM - 1 PM
We invite all students and staff to attend these forums and to ask questions they have about the move to Liverpool in 2018, as well as the closure of the current Bankstown (Milperra) Campus and the move to the Bankstown CBD in 2021.
We hope to have representatives from the Western Growth team, which has been responsible for this project, as well as from the university. However, in lieu of this, the BSCC will attempt to answer your questions as best we can, and presenting a full list of your questions to the team of Western Growth for them to address.
We look forward to seeing you there, and hearing your questions.
Hey everyone! If you have put in an EOI to be a BSCC conference delegate please check your student emails ASAP! If we don't hear from you (very) soon you may miss out on the opportunity to attend (as the registration dates for some of these conferences has already passed).
The Bansktown Student Campus Council declare their condemnation of Western students who participate in official Western and Western student funded programs and use the programs as a vehicle for hate speech and discrimination. The BSCC implores WESTERN to follow appropriate measures to condemn and block those students' access to future programs and reconsider their eligibility as a Western student.

Remember family may not always be blood
Please check out Families Australia for their linkage: "The UN theme for the International Day of Families in 2017 is “Families, education and wellbeing“. This year’s observance of the International Day of Families focuses on the role of families and family-oriented policies in promoting education and overall well-being of their members. In particular, the Day is to raise awareness of the role of families in promoting early childhood education and lifelong learning opportunities for children and youth."
