Another year of the Club 20 Candidate Debates has finished. Held at ...Colorado Mesa University yesterday, candidates had no audience; it was an unusual COVID-19 arrangement. I shared my ideas for District 59 and Colorado from home, and my opponent offered hers from Grand Junction. It was interesting day of listening to issues and solutions from around the Western Slope. I watched some golf yesterday, though really didn't participate, oth...er than to be the 12th hole judge at Dalton for the hole-in-one contest. Another beautiful Colorado day! Members of The Durango Education Foundation board held their annual golf tournament fundraiser to help pay for educators' expenses and innovations and celebrate successes. This year, we purchased 100 tickets for the Durango Drive-In, giving them to the first 100 who asked. We aren't having our staff appreciation party this year, but we do want to always show our educators just how appreciated they are. Especially this year! See More
