Best pho in the city hands down. Their "master beef" pho is delicious. For me personally, what separates Bar Pho from other pho places - like naughty chef - is the attention to detail. Things like their beef fresh, not frozen. You can tell because the protein from frozen beef leaks out when hot soup is poured on it, which clouds the soup, but Bar pho's broth stays beautifully clear. The clearness also tells me they skim off their impurities after boiling. The broth also has a great texture - not thin and weak like most places - which you can only get after boiling bones for hours. They top it off with fresh herbs and you can really smell the aromatics in the broth - some don't like it, but if you do, you'll be hooked. For an extra $2, get the Bone Marrow - A gorgeous piece of bone with meat falling off it. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I work next door and ate here everyday for a week to see if it was hit/miss and I can honestly say the food was consistently excellent every single time - which can hardly be said for many establishments, let alone one in it's fledgling moments. Get in before the secret gets out and the line starts growing. Well done guys. Hats off to you - keep up the great work.

I can only agree with Julian's comments on Bar Pho. I can only say, work your way through the entire menu, you won't be disappointed. The pho is outstanding, no MSG or additives, just 18hrs + slow coo...ked stock. The salads are fresher than fresh and full of Vietnamese herbs (the various mints and perilla are so tasty and add a new dimension). If you have a hangover or feeling down, the pho is the equivalent of good old Jewish chicken noodle soup for healing purposes. If you want spice get the spicy pho, agree the marrow is to die for. The rice wrap rolls are fantastic and a cut above all other rolls in the city, And the home made chilli is fantastic, and hot hot hot, so use with care :). I am hooked on Bar Pho, and not only the best Vietnamese street food in the CBD but served by the nicest people, great food cooked and served by great people. See More

Delish. Gingery broth with fresh meat and veggies. Also low carb Daikon noodles for those of us watching our carb intake. Love it!

It looked so promising but I was disappointed with the broth. A bit too sweet and the star anise was overpowering. I think this has huge potential but for now I will stick to Suncorp building's Naught...y Chef.... See More

Honestly, It was the most yummy broth I've ever had for Pho but too small amount of meat for the large size bowl.
