Over the flu? Not so fast — you can spread the virus a lot longer than you might think. In our new episode, we explore how flu invades the body and then sticks around.

FREE FLU SHOTS!
For the month of February, all Northeast Health District Health Departments ( http://ow.ly/T1NN30ig6S0 ) will offer FREE flu vaccines to anyone requesting one. Call or visit your local health department. The flu vaccine still remains a primary way to reduce your chances of infection with the flu, and reduce the severity of the flu if you do become infected.
Remember, WASHING YOUR HANDS remains the best defense against the flu.
If you are sick, please stay home. You need to rest to recover, and you will avoid spreading the illness. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Call or visit to ensure availability - supplies may vary by clinic.
