Always enjoy going to Barrow, make the trip down regularly. Ground well located, easily reached.

All sides of the ground easily accessible, turnstiles at each end. Has a nice bar with pictures of ol...d teams and ex players on the wall.

Another bonus is the ground is surrounded by a shopping estate that includes a Costa cafe. The wife can enjoy the shops and a cuppa while you're at the game.

The tannoy with his silly, needless 'Come on Raiders' on the top of his voice at regular intervals, and often at inopportune times, is the only minus.

Barrows young warrior's, really looking forward to the season ahead.
Barrow Raiders picked up their first Betfred Championship point on the road in a 22-22 draw at Swinton Lions today. Barrow coach Paul Crarey gives his views on the game.
Ahead of a massive game for The Raiders at the weekend at Swinton, Coach Paul Crarey’s thoughts.
Barrow v Dewsbury MOTM Jono Smith has a few words in the Raiders Bar after the game.

🗞: “We had five front-line players missing and Martin Aspinwall in the front row with Alec Susino and one middle off the bench on a red-hot day, so we’ll take whatever we can get.”

PAUL Crarey was happy for Barrow Raiders to come away with a point after they had to settle for a draw against Betfred Championship bottom side Swinton Lions for the second time this season.

🗞: Dalli as cool as ever to equalise on the hooter...

IT is often said the only two certainties in life are death and taxes, although a third is looking like it might be that Barrow Raiders can always rely on the boot of Jamie Dallimore in pressure situations.
