They took excellent care of my Dad with his recent surgery. The nurses were so attentive and caring to make sure my Dad was comfortable and not in pain. Even right after the surgery after waiting for ...4 hours for the Doctor to come talk to my mother and I we gave up waiting because she has to be cared for as well and eat and sleep at a specific time so we left to go home. I asked the nurses to please have the Doctor call me with what went on in the surgery room and I was told that the doctors usually don't do that and to my surprise my Dad's doctor did call me and apologized for the long wait and not being able to speak with me in person and filled me in on everything. Extremely caring staff. I was so shocked because I am used to Chicago hospitals and the staff there don't have conversations with you they see what's wrong and that's all there. So different here. Thank you for taking great care of my Dad. , See More

I've had 5 surgeries there and a few other mishaps that sent me there and I was pleased with every visit. Maybe the ER was a little slow getting in but the care was great when it was my turn.

I went to the lung doctor Friday and she had me admitted to the hospital . I have COPD and was having a really difficult time. I was treated fast and efficency at the clinic. When I got to admissions,... there was a slight wait, but then I was admitted, pushed to 4th floor where a barrage of nurses were waiting. I was immediately taken care of. I have had a really good experience and the doctors, nurses, assistants, and everyone associated with the hospital had my health as their main concern. I was very, very sick and I was in very capable hands throughout my 3 day stay. See More

My husband at age 48 had a stroke on 5/15/17. When we arrived at the hospital ER the ER team worked very fast to get him treated and had everything under control very quickly, and then had him on his... way to Mercy hospital in Springfield. My husband and I are very thankful for the head ER nurse that was there that night, she was awesome! Her and the ER team probably saved his life or kept him from being disabled. We were told he should make a full recovery. Thank you all See More

I want to share how blessed I have been to have received such wonderful medical care for the last couple of months. I have been extremely sick with, at that time, an unknown illness. The staff at Regional Medical Center ER were very helpful and kind to me and Jackie. After being admitted into the hospital, the BRMC nurses I had were amazing; 3rd Floor staff, You all ROCK! They did everything they could to make a very bad situation better. I have never been as sick as I was during this time but they were there around the clock providing whatever they could to help me, including little things like brushing my hair back, holding my hands, and wiping away tears. There are many more ways but I won't share the gory details. My doctors that were working to figure out what was causing my sickness were also great. Dr. Steve Wilber, Dr. Melissa Dirst-Roberts, and Dr Bodunrin Badejo continued running test and trying different medicine until they found out what was wrong. I'm so thankful to finally be on the road to recovery. I thank God for sending the right people to help me. I also thank God for a wonderful husband that never left my side through all of this. I would not be here without Jackie, my rock! Thank you all that have been praying for me. Please continue. I'm healing, slowly. See More

My first, but brief experience was as an outpatient in for lab and x-rays. I found the staff friendly, efficient and professional. As retirees, we are very pleased with the medical care in the Home area. See More

I have had mostly bad experiences here.
Moved to this area in the early 80's.
The E.R. in all these years I've had not the greatest experiences. Except twice. Those two times were excellent. I think i...t depends on what dr. Or nurses happen to be working.
Out of probably 20 visits from my infants to myself, over the years.. 2 were great. Thats not great odds.
My last trip there though, I had to have emergency surgery.
The care after... Over a week... Was great. 1 person was ok...she wasn't rude or unhelpful. Just never had a smile, a nice thing to say or did she go out of her way to help. But she did what she had to do and did it well. Just seemed like nursing might not have been the best career for her to choose. It wasn't just a bad day... I was there over a week.
Mom in her 90's had shattered her ankle and e.r. was ok. Dr. Rauls was fantastic.
But the care on the floor... Horrendous...
My daughters in law have had awesome care on the womens floor. During and after delivery. Every time.
One had issue with the dr. But that was not the hospitals fault.

Dr .Barker was amazing . He was very friendly and informative . My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday. The nurses in recovery made sure she wasn't in pain and since she's only 6 ...we had to be moved to extended recovery and the nurse there were amazing as well. She definitely made sure my daughter was comfortable and kept the popsicles coming. Her name was Crystal she even called me just now to check on her. Not many places call to check on their patients anymore. See More

I went in because my body is congested. Everything is congested. And I've been fighting and fighting for days to keep ahold of it, but I needed help. Figured the hospital could help me. Nope. Because ...I smoke. Wow. Shitty place, as always. See More

When we got there it took the lady quite a bit to realize I needed help. Then she said if you can't answer the questions we can't help you. They are not concerned with what is going on when you have b...een good poison. I don't like this place at all there are some good nurses and good Docs there it's just the people helping need to show more concern for sick one's. See More
