They are trapped. They are starved. They are killed. This is the reality for hundreds of civilians in Eastern Ghouta, who are suffering under daily attacks. Act now!

The Syrian government, backed by Russia, is bombing its own people in Eastern Ghouta. Scores of people have been killed and hundreds injured in the past month.

Way to go Peace By Chocolate!

"We felt chocolate is our ambassador. My father prepared chocolates in our home. Everything he made was gone in 10 minutes. After we came back, he had tears in ...his eyes... We did not choose where to be, this community. If we had the choice right now, we would choose our town Antigonish, again and again.."

"Everybody needs to feel safe. It doesn’t matter where you are, or who you are, you need a safe space.

Why do it? I suppose it’s a sense that you can either add to a common pool of good or a common pool of nastiness and racism and backbiting."

Bay Refugee Project shared a memory.

One year ago today, we welcomed the Barbar family at the airport. Good job folks. Everybody take 5.

The Barbar family are here! They arrived last night, greeted by members of our group and by their good friends the Al-Badin's. It's not every group that could h...alf welcome two families in one month, but we are pleased to say that we pulled it off.

Thank you all so much for everything you've done to help these two families start new lives in the Bay Community. No words.
