Had my car for 6 days repairing a door handle. Charged me $1300 and found three screws and the handle cap inside the car in the cup holder. I told them about other issues I was having with the car and... they wanted diagnostic fee over diagnostic fees. $800 labor for something had could have been done in hours, NOT 6 days! See More

We had our Cadillac CTS towed to Ed Morse Cadillac on 3/19/16 because of issues with the car going into drive. The service technician responded two days later and told me that there was a problem with... the transmission and that I had two options with getting the transmission replaced. I was told that I could have the transmission rebuilt or receive a new transmission. He told us the difference in cost would be approx. $800.00. My wife and I elected to have a new transmission put into the car. when my wife went to pick up the car on 3/31/16 the paperwork stated we received a remanufactured transmission. We were not told originally that we would receive a remanufactured transmission. We were completely dissatisfied with the response received from the manager who told us that a remanufactured transmission was the same as receiving a new transmission. The service advisor failed to disclose this information to us. We were also told that our core piece to our transmission was being sent to GM to be remanufactured as well. The dealership is trying to charge $6000 for the replacement of the transmission using what they call a new transmission when in fact the product isn't new. Instead of the manager attempting to assist us he simply told my wife and I there was nothing he could do but put our old transmission back on and we could go somewhere else. I believe this treatment was completely unacceptable and poor service on their part. They should have provided my wife and I with proper information and full disclosure of the product and work they would be doing. We were never provided with paperwork of the work they were planning to do or the products they were planning to use until we were at the cashier waiting to pay. I feel this is deceptive practice on their part. There was in fact another senior citizen at the desk at the same time complaining of additional charges they received for their service. Those were adjusted while she was standing there waiting for the manager to arrive. I believe I should not be charged for new product but for what they put in my car - remanufactured product. I would like to say that the service department here sucks!
About two months ago my father had his car serviced here and had a Mobil one oil change. The idiot technician only put 6-quarts of oil in th...e car instead of the required 8-quarts! The next morning my father checked the oil has a precautionary measure and noticed that there was NO reading on the oil level. We called Bayview Cadillac and they sent over roadside service and added two quarts of oil that the service technician forgot to add!!
Now what happens to the customer does not check their oil and ends up having engine issues?! It will fall back in the customer and not Bayview Cadillac!!
What happened to the days when the service technician double checked the oil when he was done to make sure it was full?!
It's pretty sad that a GM service technician can't even do an oil change correctly!! Why get GM service if they can possibly screw up your car!!

The worst part is that when my dads car was ready some of the service advisors and technicians wanted to hear my dads engine rev up!! So my dad started his car up that was improperly filled up with oil and revved it up so they could hear it roar! Now we worry if that could have possibly damaged his engine. We are seeking legal advice now for a possible lawsuit.

The General Manager is also very inconsiderate! Anti-Gay and a Racist!!!
I would definitely never recommend this dealership to anyone!!

Buyers stay away and buy from a real Cadillac dealership that values your business and it's definitely not Bayview Cadillac!!!!!!

Have a 2015 Cadillac SUV with chrome wheels. Noticed 2 rear wheels had some bubbled rusting in the lug nut holes. Stop by and talked to Tom in Service. Asked if they could be re-dipped and he said ...they could. He told me he would call me as soon as he talked to his manager. I was gratefully surprised when he called me back and told me that his manager said to replace them. 3 days later, I had 2 new shiny wheels plus a tire rotation and an oil change. Fantastic organization from Daniel G, our sales rep to the staff in service. Have never had anything but good things to say about them. Incidentally, we live in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and buy our vehicles from Ed Morse Bayview. See More

When I say that these people have your best interest at heart, they really really do. I came in with this unrealistic notion of the type of vehicle I wanted... not about what I needed and what was bes...t for me and my family. Trust me when I say I have wanted a Challenger since I was little, and I came in with the understanding that if I couldn't get the challenger now, I'll just get nothing at all... completely ignoring the fact that the point of searching for a newer vehicle was a necessity because my current vehicle was falling apart and unsafe for me and my family. Although they worked their hardest, AND got me approved for the Challenger I wanted, it took a family approach to sit with me and really ask me.... is this right for you right now? Are you really getting the best deal? When doing the math I realized that I'd be paying 3x what that Challenger was worth with the bank's workup. They didn't want to see that happen and neither did I! At first I was destroyed. Selfishly, I cried just thinking... man, I'm not getting my dream car just yet. WRONG! They showed me what I was approved through, as a True Car customer, and they landed me a 2016 Chevy Impala with all the bells and whistles. It even had more features than the Challenger I'd hoped for. In 2 or 3 years when my daughter is older and I've established better credit, maybe I could even bring it back in to get a Challenger... or MAYBE - I'll stay so happy with this vehicle, that's within my budget, that I won't ever want to give it up. In the end, I got what I needed, and surprisingly a little more than I wanted, in the BEST possible way. You can't beat that. There was zero pressure, I felt like family. Daniel Gagliano, Patrick Gordon, and John from special financing all made the difference and the experience that was superior and well above standard. Made a deal, shook on it. Service manager added money to the deal, I walked out. Salesman called me every day negotiating. Made another deal at the end if the day one week later knowing I could not... complete the deal until today, and they sold the car yesterday. Very unethical business practices. Bayview always provides 5 star customer service. Unfortunate that the base CT 6 has very noisy steering. Don't buy the base model. GM says the noise is just a characteristic of the cheap model.

I've had the WORSE CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I visited this dealership looking for a Cadillac ATS V-series, almost an $80,000 car. I inquired about the car and requested information from Michael G...riffiths, he called me once throwing a few numbers at me, when I requested to receive a formal quote so I can look at how he arrived at those numbers, he completely ignored me. I have emailed him 4 times and called twice and he has not responded at all. I honestly feel like he judged me and discriminated against me because I do not appear like your "typical" customer. Mind you, I am an entrepreneur who owns several successful businesses and I am an accountant with a Master's in Accountancy. I am extremely disgusted in the way Cadillac and this gentlemen has treated me. This would have been my first Cadillac purchase but being treated like a second hand citizen I will NEVER EVER buy a Cadillac!!!! See More
