Living in San Diego, I’ve been coming to bear my whole life. I’ve had a great time, up until today. I had the worst experience. I was escorted off the mountian and threatened by an man of Native Ameri...can decent that he was going to call the cops and press charges against me. This was after my ticket from Costco broke off and I tried to get on the lift with it in my pocket. I showed him my proof of purchase and bank statement. I spent good money on these tickets. He accused me of fraud. I will not be coming back here and I will strongly recommend others not to. See More

One of my favorite places to ride. I really like all of the different features available in there terrain parks. And the staff are friendly and helpful.

I love bear mountain and snow summit. They really take pride in making sure everyone is safe and a fun place to snowboard. I want to come every year. Great rentals on both snowboard, boots and skies.

Snowboarding is a big part of our life. We look forward to it every year. So far Bear Mountain has been an awesome experience. Been coming to Bear Mountain 30 years, now I have my son addicted to snow...boarding. He's been boarding since he was 4, now he's 11 and enjoying the slopes with me. See More

Troop 145 was there for the 2017 scout day and it was packed!! It took 3 hours to get rental gear for some of our boys. And we were there at 7am. Equipment was over sold. Some adults were not able to ...get ski poles and that was on a package they paid extra money to have too notch equipment. We have one blind scout and there was no mention in the booking paperwork that we had to make special arrangements for him to take lessons. I will say the instructors did work with him in the afternoon but the morning was waisted. Overall the staff was helpful and courteous. But the bottom line bear mountain over sold the day. For that reason we won't be back. See More

It was my birthday, I came with my family to K rock day at the mountain. Parking was challenging for sure & the food is expen$ive but the staff is amazing in particular Korey, Who had to go downstairs... to get the right size boots and make sure that my daughters and I were very well taken care of it was thanks to him that our day turned out so wonderful. Our favorite lift is chair 6! And the people working, all the staff everyone super kind very nice pleasant and helpful can't wait to go back my daughters and I had the best day of the year at bear Mountain! See More

Had a great time on an amazing day. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were safe and having a good time. The area was very clean and well kept. The parking was very close and convenient well... worth the $20 fee. The only downside to the day was the time everything closed. Keeping in mind it's the end of the season,I would think the park would try to maximize its availability. Overall the day was a great success and I plan to make a few more trips up before the park closes for the season! See More

We went with our troop yesterday and while the reservations and getting our package was mostly efficient, the mountain was oversold and packed with scouts. We waited in lines for 40 minutes and then t...hey shutdown the upper lifts 1 hour early. Why do that on such a busy day?!? We then had another Cub scout get kicked out of a lesson due to another scout bothering him. I would only come back if they do it at snow summit which is more spread out and has better capacity IMO. I looooove Bear Mountain. 2000 feet of vertical 90 min from LA. What could be better!?

They really need to figure out traffic and parking. I grew up skiing in Colorado. I have skied in Utah, New Mexico and also Mammoth, here in California. Big Bear is by far the worst. The lift line t...raffic was no better. Mass chaos. You'd think they would've figured that out by now and put a decent system in place, but nope. The snow was decent and the runs were fun, but the serious lack of any organization or control ruined a potentially awesome experience. Try harder, Big Bear. See More

2 stars because I really like snowboarding but they sold 17,000 passes on Saturday the 25th of February. A record number an employee told me. No parking, 30 min lift lines and I waited 20 minutes for and was still not near the front of the line. Very slow food service. I headed back to the long lift lines and didn't eat all day. They should limit there ticket sales!! And be equipped to provide food for there customers! See More

Everyone was friendly. The slopes were well groomed. A little slushy in spots, but for SoCal in mid March it was frickin awesome! We go to Mountain High alot because its so close, but Bear Mountain ...was worth the drive. Some really long beginner and intermediate runs. Definitely challenging advanced runs. All in all great! Recommend it to everyone! See More

The slopes were fun but I was thrown off by the radio station that was there (Real 92.3 LA). They were giving out weed, cursing all up and down the stage & there are kids all over there park. How is t...hat acceptable? If I had kids here I would be really pissed but this is a bit too disturbing. See More

Thanks Bear Mountain! I had an amazing time on my birthday. I wish it extended till sunset I didn't know last lift was at 4. Word of advice: Ski dazzle tickets could be crowded since it has the best d...iscount so avoid weekends on those days unless you want a 3hr drive down the mountain with good company! See More

No longer family friendly. Music & bands are inappropriate for kids and unwelcome to modest adults. Profanity, drugs and sexual content was ridiculous. We used to love sitting on the deck enjoying c...ocktails while the kids played in snow after a day of riding. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Now we will go elsewhere. See More

The best terrain park in the world! I love Big Bear and wish it could be open all year round - the longest sets of features. Great shaping, fun events and cell connection everywhere! Thank you guys fo...r keeping it at the top. See More
