I am a repeat customer to this brand mostly due to my affinity for their Ghost Pepper mustard which I have yet to see replicated elsewhere at anywhere near the quality. Even the specialty mustards I h...ave gotten from niche hot food vendors like Blair's and Pepper Palace can't touch it, despite the fact that they are significantly more expensive. While I love the heat of it as a lover of all things insanely spicy, the flavor is what won me over and keeps me coming back. The only bad part is I am unable to find this stuff locally, so I have to order direct from the beaverton foods website. While this sucks if I am running low and need some quickly, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. They offer flat shipping for 10 bucks, so I have ended up ordering several other varieties to fill out my box to justify the shipping cost. Honorable mention also goes to the Jalapeno and Hickory Bacon mustard varieties, as well as the extra hot horseradish. See More

Called the contact number, left a message, and never received a return call.
Top of HR jar was covered with some black gook, inside and out.
Tossed it since I have no idea what that could be except mo...ld from an incorrect processing job, or their over filling it.

Going back to grinding my own.

We have been trying for 3 years and giving your extra hot horseradish a chance to be extra hot and it hasnt happened used to be the perfect horseradish and now its just not even close to the... other beaver products....which we love....they are delicious....this 1 Star review is only for your extra hot horseradish See More

Just got off the phone with customer service regarding the extra hot gtated horse radish! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wants me to drive into town to take a 2 dollar bottle of horseradish back that tases ra...ncid and could not tell me why/ if the next bottle was going to be hot or not! I have been buying grated horseradish for years and when I purchase a bottle that says hot, it HOT. THIS WAS NOT EVEN MILD.... Going to find a different brand! I would just as soon pay a little more to get quality then less and get ****! See More

Just got the Extra Hot Horseradish, dated April 10, 2018. It tastes rancid and has no spice whatsoever.please change your recipe.

The sweet honey mustard is the key ingredient in my late husband's version of a fried egg sandwich. He came up with the recipe many years ago and it quickly became one of my familly's favorite meals. ...We've tried other mustards, but this one is the best of it's kind. If you want to try it, slather Beaver Brand honey mustard and some good quality mayonnaise on both sides of a split croissant. Fry up a couple of whole eggs in a little butter. As they cook, sprinkle with a little S&P then push around the edges with a spatula to form the eggs to fit the croissant. When edges set, flip the eggs carefully, keeping yolks intact, and rapidy cover with a layer of Black Forest ham followed by a layer of medium cheddar cheese. Continue cooking the eggs to desired level of doneness, then transfer to the prepared croissant. It's always a challenge to keep the eggs runny and getting the cheese to melt. My husband was a pro at this, but I haven't quite mastered it. Hope you enjoy this sandwich as much as we do. We've eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (on different days) and never tire of this unique flavor combination. Serve with lots of napkins, cause it's equally messy as well as yummy. See More

This was a waiste of money, extra hot wasnt even hot at all it may have had the flavor of horseradish but when yoh use almost the whole jar at one sitting and need the help of horseradish to clear sin...uses from bad allergies all day and you get nothing, highly disappointed! See More

I’ll begin by stating that I’m a long time customer and will continue to be so. Love your stuff. That said … my last purchase of Sweet hot mustard was nearly unusable. It had none of the usual sweet f...lavoring, nor much of the hot. What it did have, however, was a boatload of horseradish taste. Almost unbearable. I thought at first it was just me. I asked my wife (who likes horseradish) to try it and she couldn’t stomach it either.

I figure one of two things happened. Either (a) you changed the recipe, or (b) this came from a bad batch. Either way – not tasty. All I can say is, “Holy crap, this is not the mustard I know and love!”

Just thought I’d pass along my comments. Hopefully it is a bad batch and that you didn’t change the recipe, because Beaver Sweet Hot Mustard is my standard go to.

My husband and I always buy the Inglehoffer condiments and we have never been disappointed! We are quite the connoisseurs of mustard and always have at least 5 different kinds in the fridge at all! Our favorites are the organic honey mustard(not overly sweet and has a clean taste) The stone ground mustard is great as well! The sweet hot pepper mustard has just the right amount of kick and it's complimented by slightly sweet flavor. If you enjoy some heat to your food I would definitely recommend it! See More

The "extra hot" horse radish absolutely sucks. If you eat a heaped table spoon of it you might get the slightest tingle of heat and that is about it. Very disappointing.
