Some sweet shred shots via FlimFlam Media from round 3 of USDrift ProAm of my local buddy Matt Pollock and I. Congrats to Matt for grabbing the podium!!!
The final round of the USDrift ProAm champions is comming up soon! This event is USDrift vs Midwest Drift Union™ to see who is the best of the best! A top 32 competition at the ProAm ranks!!! Feal Suspension, Inc. Deft Motion Zestino Tyre USA
Headed down to Georgia to do some shakedown testing at the renovated Lanier speedway. Looking forward to dialing the car in and shredding tired with all the GA shred heads. Let's put these Feal Suspension, Inc. #441 coilovers threw the paces!
So the first round of USDrift didn't go as planned but we still came home with a victory! We scored this sweet GoPro from USDrift! Also I learned that after almost 3 years of not driving I still can hang it out there. We were only able to put up about three runs before the problems started to present them selves. A hard to find relay decided it was time to retire from service. I can't think Eddie and Craig enough for tearing the dash apart and finding the problem to get the c...ar running agian. We made it back out for practice session 2 and the steering rack decided it was done. I tried to put together one qualifying run but the wheel just wouldn't turn. We made the decision to pack it up and call it what it is. We have a few bugs to work out before round 2 at Virginia International Raceway.
Thanks goes out to Feal Suspension, Inc. even though I wasn't able to fully attack the track, I could still tell that these Feal 441 coilovers are the real deal! The transition from the bank to flat was unnoticeable. The car remained settled and composed.
Let's bring this back from the dead! And I don't just mean this page! This year I am going to make my return to ProAm Drifting! I'm going to do my best to keep this page full of updates as well as my twitter @benlewallen56 and Instagram. Let's get this season rolling!
Throwing it back to my very first ProAm season. As if now it's looking like the Five6 Racing team will be taking 2014 off. It's time to regroup, refocus, and get married! Thank you to everyone who has helped support is the past two seasons. We couldn't have accomplished what we have with out all of you.
This season has bar far been the most difficult for me. I praise Scott McLelland for hanging in there through his own trials and documenting g what little bit I gave him. Stay tuned for the full length.
