Overall good value for money. Rooms seemed clean but did have a bit of a musty smell - I assume from age. The rooms also become very muggy if you don’t run the air conditioner constantly. They are ver...y small...a tight fit for a family of four. The carpet is kind of dingy and needs either replacing or an extremely good deep cleaning. Our first night we found toilet paper with feces stuck behind our toilet. We were only told they would let housekeeping know. Nothing was offered. Never enough washcloths left by housekeeping. However, the grounds are very nice and it’s very quiet, despite being next to the freeway. Now, the walls between rooms seem to be somewhat thin, so you can hear all the doors and other bathroom noises, but you get what you pay for. The beds in our room were doubles, so very small, but were very comfortable. The food in their restaurant is good, and they give you 15% off. Room service is also provided. That being said, I wish a free breakfast was offered like most other best westerns. The pool is heated and is very nice. There is a bar right next to the pool. There are two hot tubs. My kids loved their time in the pool.

I would give this hotel a second chance, but they could definitely stand to update/remodel their rooms.

Using points, I was able to book 1 night for four. Checked in late, after Monster Jam, around 10pm. We were greeted by friendly staff and a members snack bag. Thought we booked a one bedroom, 2 beds. ...What we walked into was a lovely 2 bedroom suite type room with 1 sofa bed and one queen bed. The rooms were comfy and clean. The sofa bed is a little old and needs an update, but was fine for one night. Really enjoyed my visit and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for a great night. See More

Great value and location. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are lovely, the cafe menu is extensive and the food is great. Like all other hotels on hotel row it is next to the freeway but very quiet ...inside the rooms. Not a new place, but very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Guest laundry facilities are convenient. Sidewalk in front and bus stop nearby. You can walk to the beautiful Fashion Valley mall. So glad we found this place!! See More

I had a great experience with my husband and a ton of our friends. The room was a great size, the bed was soft and the place was clean. The only suggestion I would make is to have the hotel staff prov...ide towels daily. We had to ask. But the staff of the hotel and the cafe were friendly and I enjoyed my stay! See More

The mini-fridge did not work and the AC barely did any good at all. Room not bad at all but did NOT like the restaurant.

Worst hotel ever.
Waited a hour to get picked up at the airport.
Van driver that was supposed to pick us up from family day at MCRD... was an hour late. Next day, graduation day, he overloaded ...the van... again an hour late... had people STANDING in the aisle on the way back. See More

My friend and I checked into this place on a Friday night. The checking in process was fast and fair enough. The prices cannot be beat. However, the first thing I noticed when I walked into the room a bug on the wall. There was a smell permeating from the room, moldy kind of smell. The rooms are small. The walls are thin so you can hear every door opening and closing. The ac is loud. The bed is uncomfortable. The blankets on the bed are not sufficient to keep you warm on a cold night. There is no complimentary breakfast. If you can afford to pay extra, go somewhere else. Go down the street to Marriot. Thats what I did. See More

Horrible experience. Came here for honeymoon and first problem is the light in the bathroom that takes about a minute to come on and doesn't even stay on reliably. Not a big deal just planned to talk... to the front desk in the morning. Next morning, start the water to take a shower and the hot water never kicks on. So I skip the shower and go to the front desk where the clerk at the front tells me that the hotel is pretty old and I just have to let the water run for fifteen minutes or so to get hot water.
Will consider all other options other than Best Western from now on. This hotel has ruined it.

This is a gem in the heard of San Diego! Always a great price and it feels like a resort. With the tropical trees, nice pool area, great cheap bar, and good service. My only complaint is that the room...s need to be renovated a little. They are stuffy and rust and stains are starting to form. Also, the Resturant is ok, better than Dennys, but ok. Other than that this is a great value! See More

Booked through Priceline so the price was very fair. Here for work and is close to the job at the convention center. The rooms are upgraded and very clean. Has a good laundromat but it's outside which... is a little strange. The restaurant has decent food and ok prices. Great service at the restaurant.
I come to motel circle quite often. For the price, this is my favorite hotel. I just wish they had a free breakfast.
I will definitely stay here again if Priceline puts them on special. After taxes and everything I paid 60 per nite for 2 beds. That was Monday they Friday check out.

Wish we had reviewed this site before booking. Our room smelt so musty we used dryer sheets in our air conditioner vent and all over room. Then 2 hours later the police showed up and started staking ...out the room next to us. The police were absolutely great, polite and kept us informed. After 5 hours we were asked to leave our room as they made entry to the room next to us. We only had to stay out of our room for a short time while they found contraband and I believe a weapon. The search of the room continue for hours though. For me the worst thing was finding the big black dead spider between the two pillows when we were finally able to go to bed. Or the big live one stuck in the light fixture in the bathroom, gross!! See More

So checked in online and was asked when i would be getting in and i specified that i land at 10am and would be there by noon. Received an email confirming on the only specification I had but when I ar...rived was told that our wouldn't be ready to 2pm so waited and got a text message from the hotel that it wouldn't be ready till 4pm. So that crap aside found out that my room had no microwave to heat my food. Called the front desk to ask to just use one and was told that one could be brought to my room for $10 a night WTF?!!!!!!!! thought that was a comment amenity... guess not. Proceeded to go to there lounge and asked to use one and was told i was not allowed, talked to the male evening bar tender about it and explained how I'm here for work to provide for my family and he responded with "and how's that working for ya". Excuse me? I'm a patron of the business your working for just teeing to warm my dinner and I'm met with sarcasm. So over all the property is nice and convenient but costumer service is shit. See More
