Very good meeting last night and thanks to all who attended to hear the presentation by Kay Ragan from the League of Women Voters on the issue of homelessness and its impacts on San Diego. Many great questions and it is obvious that this issue will be one that will generate much interest for the foreseeable future. Great to also have City Council candidates Tommy Hough and Fayaz Nawabi stop by to chat with attendees...they both are Mira Mesa residents and Club members.
Just wanted to remind everybody about our awesome website...kudos out to club member extraordinaire Jerry Ollinger for all of his work on this site!!!👍👌🎉🌊😃
A shout out to this amazing group that registered 63 new Democrats at the naturalization ceremony downtown on April 18! Now this is what AWESOME sounds and looks like! Less than 50 days left until the primary on June 5 and these 63 folks could be the votes that make the difference! If you know any of these volunteers who worked this event make sure you THANK them!

I just watched one of the best programs I have ever seen regarding racism in America -- American Denial by Independent Lense. I suggest all of you watch these s...hort clips. This program is rather disturbing and challenges all of us on our way of thinking about race in America. Many of us are in denial.
