UPDATE - UNION BUSTING IN FORT SMITH, Arkansas
Local union folk were shooed away from their picket line today by city authorities. Heavy involvement of such authorities suggests City Planner and Plant Manager Kevin Settle is abusing his power for personal gain.
Exide is threatening to bring in temp workers into a highly dangerous and sensitive plant. We were told the other day if the people coming in don't know what they're doing there could be major explosions to damage the... city and put the nearby school at risk.
I have received information that the unions bm called our guys and told them to get us out yesterday because we were rallying up support. He is trying to convince everyone to take the cut so he can catch some side money. The workers are voting to decide whether to officially go on strike. They need all the support we can give them since their own team is trying to stab them in the back.
We are discussing a protest on Kevin Settle's home. More details on that pending the vote.

I have told the chief steward that they have the support of Oklahoman's. We will be ready to rally to their aid. If they go on strike we can setup a fundraiser to help support the families struggling.
