      BRANSON CENTENNIAL MUSEUM’S TIME REWIND New Fundraiser Showcases Pre-1992 Entertainment Favorites Branson, MO February 19, 2013 – The Branson Centennial Museum’s Mary Ann Sharp along with Producer Chisai Childs bring the past to the present with the musical variety fundraiser “Blast From The Past”. Showcasing artists from the pre-1992 Branson era, this once in a lifetime show will take place Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2pm on the site of the Original Ozark Jubilee, now The Starlite Theatre, 3115 West 76 Country Blvd, Branson, MO. “Blast From The Past” will feature the following confirmed performers - The Lowe Sisters, Chisai Child and The Starliters, Bud Lynn, Randy Plummer, Doug Gabriel, Buddy Burr, James Principe, Buck Trent, Ben Weatherford, Trish and Norm Farnum, Gary Dooms, Chris Dotson, Rick Inman, Jim Owen, Barbara Fairchild, Kirby VanBurch, Steve Mitchell, Johnny Dame, Susan Hudson-Carman, Jayne and Tom Peters, Lori Locke, BoxCar Willie Jr, Rick Dodson, Jeff Brandt, Darla Morgan, Bob Nichols, Lana Mae, Janice Copeland, Rolene Brumley, Joe Tinoco, Geoff Clark, Patty Davidson with more Branson favorites still responding. All performers are volunteering their time to make this historical moment happen. To further celebrate this golden era, ticket prices have been rolled back to pre-1992 prices.     This would definitely help our Entertainment Industry. We have long suggested that Branson is a SHOW TOWN and a resurgence of SHOW BIZ'NESS would pump money into the economy and attract more visitors for us ALL.

    THE RIGHT TO PETITION government for redress of grievances is the right to make a complaint to, or seek the assistance of, one's government, without fear of punishment or reprisals.

    WE, the Citizens of Branson, Missouri, petition the City of Branson to create an "Entertainment Zone" restricted to a geographically defined area of the "76 Strip" in which significantly funded investments, into new entertainment offerings, will receive a tax abatement package to be coordinated by and between the City of Branson, Taney County and the State of Missouri, post haste, with the intention of creating a pro-growth position for the economic future of our community.
