



Loved the tempeh taco, the ceviche and the beans were gorgeous.
My only negative is I actually wanted to spend more than I could!!
Looking forward to the liquor license and more seating.

Nopales aka Prickly Pear
A vegetable sourced from the de-spined paddles of the prickly pear cactus (pictured below), nopales are widely used in Mexican cooking.
With their light, slightly tart flavour (similar to green beans), they are a good source of vitamin C and magnesium.
...Currently, fresh nopales remain unavailable in New Zealand so LaBocaLoca imports preserved nopales.
At Boquita you can sample nopales in our fresh watermelon salad!
It's definitely a Cauliflower Ceviche and Six Barrel Soda Lemonade kind of day.
