1 Corinthians 13:4-5 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
Knowing who you are in Him, is knowing how blessed you are!

We thank the Lord, for the privilege to be a part of this momentous event to the lives of these future young leaders.
For the very first time in MASA history, the school had a very successful staging of Purity Ball 2018, with the theme “True Love Waits.” Thirty-seven beautiful ...High School students waering their best dresses and suits attended their first ball and everyone, including their families in the audience, are just so overjoyed!
Pastor Arnold Lamsin, of New Life Boracay gave a talk about kinds of love and the value of waiting. The students and even their parents, especially the mothers, were so happy with the Pastor’s teaching. They were listening intently to the powerful messages of the Pastor.
The Purity Ceremony came after Pastor Arnold’s inspirational talk where the School Head Ma’am Lilia Tiamson and Pastor Lamsin gave every student their symbolic “purity ring,” followed by pledges of the students, the parents, and the church.
The Purity Ball also coincided with the 18th birthday of our Grade 7 student, Luisa Tiquan. The teary-eyed debutante, was given 18 roses by some of her classmates and male faculty members. Each of the male participants was given the chance to dance the debutante which made the crowd cheer and admire them. Having this kind of ceremony rarely happens in the community, so everyone was just so ecstatic.
Grade 9 student Luther John Vicente and Mercy Khezia Coching from Grade 8 were chosen as the King and Queen of the Night.
It was a fun night but with a very meaningful message to preserve oneself for the right person given by God. Everyone was so happy and looked so elegant. Their parents were also emotional especially when they saw their children danced the cotillion. Some parents said that it was actually the first time they have seen their children dressed and acted that way. They were very thankful to the school for this kind of occasion for their children.
We thank everyone who supported our Purity Ball and we give God all the glory!
A sure foundation in Christ gives us the confidence to overcome evil with good.
"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one."
