Massport’s planned modernization of International Terminal E will have a number of important environmental benefits. We project a significant reduction in aircraft, vehicle and greenhouse gas emissions ranging from 6% to 44% by allowing international flights to move directly to the terminal and shut down their engines rather than idling on auxiliary power as they do now. The new gates will also eliminate the need to bus passengers to their aircraft, another source of air pollution.

Vanessa Shaughnessy1starMiserable.Traffic was so horrible getting in that we sat in a tunnel a couple miles away for an hour and a half, thereb...y missing the flight cut off by 3 minutes eventhough we'd given ourselves atleast an hour extra. This is a stupid place for an airport with terrible choke points. The flight they rebooked to was the next morning, so we couldn't check the bag, meaning a family of 5 was stranded in the presecurit y wasteland of terminal C. Barely any seats, essentiall y no food, essentiall y no place to charge. We had to be back around 5, and there were no hotel rooms available anywhere near the airport. Most other airports we could have made do overnight, but this was untenable enough that we paid big money on another carrier to get out the same night. See More 
3starAs I sit in the Boston Logan airport waiting for my flight - I am watching the Memorial for Fallen Dallas Police Officer...s. My heart is so sad not only for these families and for my city but mostly because of the awareness I have right now of the hearts in America. I cannot count on 1 hand the number of people watching this - I even had to move seats cuz those sitting next to me were talking on their phones so loud - oblivious to what's going on.
Not only should the airport personnel show more respect and honor by turning it up and music off; I wonder if this was Boston officers if they would feel differently?? We Americans have a reputation of being spoiled - and u know what? We are spoiled, and self centered and all need to take a look at our hearts See More
