"Being able to go on our trips like sailing, skiing, and surfing is such an amazing way to experience God’s amazing creation and the joy he’s placed in doing these things! It’s great being in class, but it’s even better going out and being able to practice and develop what we’ve learned. Kaléo is one of the most unique and amazing things I’ve ever experienced. It’s been hard, yet rewarding. I think this unique setting has allowed me to learn in an engaging and personal way That I can’t get anywhere else." -Julia Hood, upcoming graduate of the #Kaleo2018 class.

My parents left the farm in 1950. The Lord had called me into the ministry but I had no idea where to start. Living in Herbert, SK for a few winters, I was able to enrol in a simple course from Bible Institute. That was for 2 winters. During the summer I worked in carpentry in Brooks, AB. Then in the fall of 1954 I joined some relatives in starting my studies at Briercrest . I graduated after 2 yrs. Then I returned to take Gr. 11 in the High School. I went to Ecuador in 1957. What a year!! There's a long story after that! I started dating a lovely girl via mail. After 3 yrs. and 250 letters, I returned for her graduation from Briercrest and in June (1960) we were married and after that spent 20 years working in Ecuador. Many things happened and the Lord was there for us!! The Lord gave us 3 wonderful kids, 1 girl, 2 boys! After returning to Canada, I served as pastor in a church in Carnduff, SK for 8.5 yrs. Great experience! Then we started a ministry with International students in the FOCUS Club. We had 57 different nationalities in our home over 10 yrs. We are now "retired". after some severe accidents for both of us. But the Lord is GOOD..all the time! Danny & Elma See More

Our visit to the campus was first class. The folks there are so hospitable and friendly and made us feel so welcome. They took so much time out just for us to answer questions and give us a full ove...rview of the campus, programs, finances and options. Great place to send your students! See More

Briercrest taught me how to think and solve problems. The memories were incredible. There was low pressure to "be someone" and solid structure to engage in meaningful relationships. Today I employ 4...0 people in the aerospace industry and I continually reference my Briercrest days as being foundational in learning how to lead, think and relate. Solving problems in business remains tough therefore I highly recommend a school like Biercrest to set yourself up for a strong future. Peace. See More

The little time I have spent as a student at Briercrest has played a massive role in forming my worldview and thoughts on Christianity and the Church. Instead of telling you what to think, they give y...ou careful guidance and room to learn to think for yourself. I would recommend Briercrest to anyone! See More

#PeopleOfBriercrest “For the longest time I felt I was always the new one, but now I feel like I am a veteran here. Working here is like working with family. It’s different than any other job I’ve had before. Yeah there are days there is work and you feel the pressure, but it’s in an environment that you wouldn’t trade for anything”

In true Saskatchewan manner these students are out in the snow and pausing for a photograph, some of the ladies even wearing short sleeves! Did you know it was once a part of the conduct code that ladies on campus had to wear skirts unless the temperature dropped below -25?! 😳

#PeopleOfBriercrest "I think the most important thing I’ve learned is that He has a plan and He will work it out. We’re meant to be here. I love my job, it’s perfect for me . . . I also love the atmosphere here, the people that work here really want to be here. It’s great coming to work and knowing you are going to have somebody fun to work with.”
