The SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM could use a few more volunteers AND some individually wrapped snacks. We give each child a snack to take home after they eat lunch. For volunteer information and sign ups, contact Jill Bostwick at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can drop off snacks at the District Office or at Robinson beginning Monday. THANKS
EWALT STAFF ROCKS!! We ran short on weekly food packets that go home with some of our students. How do you solve this problem? You ask the staff and they come up with the solution! THANKS for your generosity!!
Did you know that the Kansas Food Bank supplies weekend food packets for families who may not have any food on the weekends? We have approximately 80 students who take a weekly food packet home from USD 402. You can help by donating food to the Kansas Food Bank. This Saturday you can donate canned goods and boxed items by placing them at your mailbox. How easy is that????
It's SOCCER sign up time! We want all kids who desire to play soccer to be able to sign up. If you need assistance, please let your school counselor know or send a message to this page. Sign ups end the last part of June - check it out at ACE Hardware.
Prom is approaching this weekend. It's the perfect time to get out those dresses from last year and donate them to Bright Futures. You can write it off as a charitable donation!!
FOOD NEEDED...we have a two siblings at AHS that are in need of food. They are currently living with their grandparents who need assistance. Any type of food would be great - boxed and canned items, meat and dairy products. Please take items to the Augusta High School today through the rest of this week. It is greatly appreciated and needed.
ROSE HILL STATE BANK ROCKS!! Thanks for supporting Bright Futures with your Friday Jeans Days! The children of Augusta appreciate your donation. What other businesses can hop on board with JEANS DAY???
KHAKI PANTS....not sure what to do with your child's khakis when they are done with AMS Choir???? If they are in great condition, donate them to the choir for next year. Drop off at Augusta Middle School.
Ewalt Elementary is having their Father/Daughter Dance this evening, April 20th at Ewalt. The dance will be held from 6-8. We have some girls who would love to attend but don't have a father figure in their life. If you are attending the dance already, consider "adopting" another daughter for the evening. IF you LOVE to dance and volunteer, please call the school to see if there are some girls who can be matched with you. It'll be FUN!!
