The lovely streets of Dalkey, seen from Dalkey Castle. ❤️
Dalkey is a lovely seaside resort in the outskirts of #Dublin that was founded as a Viking settlement. There is so much history here that you can feel it wherever you go. It used to have 7 castles at one point! Now it is a quaint little place with quite a few celebrity residents.

Today is #WorldSlothDay! And Simon Reeve has explained here very well why we should stay away from tourist attractions that involve interactions with wild animals.
Please travel responsibly! (I need a sloth emoji) ❤️
● It’s #WorldSlothDay! I want to use it to raise awareness for #sloths that are exploited for tourism in The Amazon. Young sloths are taken from their mothers, ...held captive and mishandled. They often don’t survive longer than six months when forcibly passed from one stranger to the next ☹ And what’s it all for? A selfie. We’re in a position to inspire and motivate one another to stop this. If the demand stops, so will the suffering. If you haven’t already, please sign up to @WorldAnimalProtectionUK’s Wildlife Selfie Code and commit to cruelty-free selfies. And if you can spare it, a donation of whatever you can give could help put a stop to cruelty faced by wild animals used as props for selfies. You can donate here: https://goo.gl/jPmgkd Let’s give wild sloths something to celebrate! #NotEntertainers
Last month I discovered what real paella is. And now you can discover it too! Read about my cooking experience with Escuela de Arroces y Paella Valenciana and find out what are the only ingredients you need for a real Valencian paella! 🥘🥘🥘
*Spoiler alert*: There is not a single chorizo in sight!
I was asked to contribute to a post about the best hikes in Asia, and here is it! Can you guess what country I picked? Have a read at this great compilation by Nomad is Beautiful to find out.

There's a door with a small hole in the Grand Hall that is always shut. If you put your finger through the hole and it feels cold, it means one of the ghosts is on the other side. If it feels warm, then the ghost is out and about... 👻👻👻⠀
So today my Facebook Live session for Discover Ireland GB couldn't happen as I had no phone signal in the gorgeous mountains just outside #Dublin city. But I put together a little video to share my horse riding adventures with you! 😊
Hey everyone! Teresa from Brogan Abroad here! 😊👋 I'm in Dublin this week discovering the adventurous side of the city.
I was horse riding today just outside th...e city and wanted to show you what I was getting up to but I didn't have any phone signal, so here's a little video I put together for you. I hope you enjoy it! 😊
First full day of my adventure in Dublin and it's been a blast already! Started zip lining through the forest this morning with Zipit, followed by a living history tour of Dalkey with Dalkey Castle and sea kayaking around Dublin bay with Kayaking.ie
Been super lucky with my trip mates too! They absolutely rock! Check them out here 😊

I've spent the last few days in Killarney, #Ireland, at the #TBEXIreland conference absorbing a huge amount of information and meeting lots of cool travel bloggers, vloggers and instagrammers. Had a great time but it was pretty intense. ⠀
Luckily, Killarney National Park is right next to the town, and is a fantastic place to find little spots where you can have some quiet time. ⠀
An amazing video that shows a bit of what I got up to in the beautiful Greek island of Syros last week.
Here is a (very) small selection of photos from my recent trip to Syros, #Greece. Pastel colours and gorgeous views are a common theme here.
