Track & field athletes are fast. Like whoa fast. Our African wild dogs are fast too. If the need arises, they can sprint up to 45 miles per hour! At that pace, our African wild dogs could finish the 100 m race in about 5 seconds. GO TEAM USA!

At the Olympics, swimmers continue their medal quest today the 200m Individual Medley. They’ll need to minimize drag during their swim to get to the medal podium. Penguins minimize drag and accelerate under water by releasing tiny air bubbles trapped in their feathers. Since humans don’t have feathers, they’ll have to rely on their power and the technology built into their swimsuit. GO TEAM USA!
