Ahoy Mates! Here's a short clip of Burning Bridget Cleary at the 2016 Philadelphia Folk Festival. You can hear the rest of the song, plus lots more videos from our archives on our refreshed YouTube channel. New songs are posted every third Thursday. Cheers!
We are familiar with full-time musician and artist, Dan Bern through the Folk Alliance. His hand was injured terribly in a snowblower accident last week. The emergency surgery will not be covered by insurance because it happened in New York state. Please consider contributing to his medical costs and check out his music and tour schedule while you are at it. Thanks.
Are You Listening? If so, please share.
So excited to share the official music video for "Daydream" from our debut album, "Wide Awake." Everyone who shares this video will be entered into a drawing fo...r Executive Producer credit on our new album, as well as a copy of the new album when it's complete (late spring). Deadline is February 28th at midnight, but we won't be mad if you keep sharing after that...

Flashback to the 2014 NERFA (NorthEast Regional Folk Alliance) conference......
What a fun crazy inspirational weekend that was....
If you ask me, filling a hotel with hundreds of musicians and letting them make music 24/7 in the hallways is aways a good idea...
In honor of St. Brigid's Day tomorrow, here's some music to bring spring to our hearts. Just follow the link to stream anytime. Thanks to Thunder on the Plains radio for including us in the lineup!
Hey Everybody! Amy Beshara has formed a contradance band called Jigaplex! Check them out and give them a like. Then put on your dancing shoes!
Welcome message from Jigaplex:
"Hello FaceBook! We are a contradance band based in the NYC area featuring Matthew Christian and Amy Beshara on fiddles, and Max Carmichael on Guitar, Bouzouki, and everything else. Matthew Christian is a veteran contradance musician and dancer, does amazing work with the NYC busking advocacy organiz...ation “Busk NY,” and his fiddle playing makes everyone so happy. Amy Beshara is part dancer but never knew it until she was 25 years old, is a crackerjack fiddle player/reborn viola player who loves harmony, and thought of the name “Jigaplex” even though geometry was her worst subject in school. Max Carmichael can blend the sounds of blues, punk, Indian classical ragas, Irish drop D tuning, and Scottish lift with his strummy strings. Together our mission is to make you dance. Nice to meet you!"

Here's something for the spooky season. The Amazon TV series, "Lore" featured Bridget Cleary's story - with a more contemporary view of her husband's motives than we have heard before.
"Are you a witch or are you a fairy,
Or are you the wife of Michael Cleary?"
