Burns Lake Show and Shine to Burns Lake Show and Shine

Some history of the Burns Lake Show and Shine…

The first show and shine in Burns Lake was held back in 2005. From what I can gather from people it actually was ...hosted on the Southside out at Takysie Lake.
In 2006 it moved into Burns Lake and was held at current LDM parking lot.
In 2007 it was moved again the local A &W, right in the center of Burns Lake. That year cars came from as far as Smithers and Prince George attend.
In 2008 the show was on the move again and was hosted in the Overwaitea parking lot. That year was the first year the Burns Lake Car Club added a BBQ which was a huge hit. The BBQ was hosted by Dave and Verna Hopper.
Back to the A & W parking lot for the 2009 Show and Shine. This was the first time they had a car participate from the Lower Mainland. The BBQ was once again hosted out at Dave and Verna Hoppers place where one could take advantage of the scenery for some beautiful car photos.
A new location again for 2010 and now appeared to be a more permanent home, the Burns Lake Spirit Square. This was the first year a large amount of motorcycles attended the show. The BBQ now a tradition followed the show and shine.
2011 brought vehicles as far away as Terrace and one from Powell River. This show and shine was a two day event as a Poker Run and Dinner Cruise were now a part of the festivities. 65 vehicles were on display this show and shine.
From 2012-current the Burns Lake Show and Shine has continued at the Spirit Square and ranges from a one day to two day events which include dinner cruise, poker run, show and shine and the BBQ.
Please feel free to share some of your photos of the Burns Lake show and shine through the years. Would be neat to see the photos through the years.
