Did a tree fall during the storm?

What to do if a tree falls during a storm.

Come to CORA today for a Suessical Day!

No automatic alt text available.

Stay safe! Trees are down and lights are out on the roads!

This is a message from ReadyPhiladelphia.

The Streets Department and related City agencies have mobilized staffing and resources for this evening’s storm.

The Streets Department has 70 trucks ready to treat the primary streets in problem areas, with over 40,000 tons of salt available. Crews have already been out in the City’s Northwest and are treating bridges and hills in other areas. They will remain on-duty to monitor roadways and respond to problem locations and emergencies.

Motorists are urged to use caution because high winds can limit visibility. The accumulation, however, is mainly on grass and sidewalks, with a little accumulation on bridges and some streets, especially in the Northwest.

Multiple downed trees have been reported because of the high winds. Residents are urged to report those to 311. Do NOT call 911 unless the downed trees cause dangerous conditions. To report power outages and power line issues that are not a threat to safety, call PECO emergency response at 1-800-841-4141.

Please, use extra caution outdoors, especially at night with reduced visibility. Avoid downed tree limbs, trees, power lines, and poles.

If you experience an outage, please report it online to PECO or through their mobile app.

If using mass transit, please check SEPTA's System Status page as power outages and road conditions
are affecting travel.
