From Bob Isadore:
Etta expressly left instructions that there be no wake or funeral. Instead she had made provisions that there be ( in her own words) be a big party. Etta's family will be making the arrangements for this some time in the future.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Etta's name to Hospice of Cape Cod, 73 Service Rd., East Sandwich, Ma. 02537.

This is an unconventional obituary for a one of a kind woman. Etta. One word. One incredible person. One amazing life. After a courageous 8 year battle with cancer Etta Goodstein, a renowned jeweler and gold smith in West Dennis, succumbed to the decease last week. Etta was a member of the Generatio...

Regional Bus Service across Massachusetts is at risk. If you value public transportation, please sign our petition to fairly fund RTAs. Without adequate state f...unding, service cuts and drastic fare hikes are coming soon to the Worcester and Pioneer Valley regions, with more cuts on the way.

You can help. The state legislature and Governor Baker need to hear from you that RTAs must be responsibly funded.

Public transit is key to economic opportunity and combating climate change and congested roads. We need to go forward - not back.

U.S. Representative Bill Keating

Over a decade and a half ago as Norfolk County District Attorney, I started an Opioid Task Force, and what I learned from my experience is that the President ha...s it all wrong. Back then, I was tasked with the responsibility of approaching it from a criminal side, but I learned this is much more a public health issue. That is why the Centers for Disease Control advocates for an approach of combining medically assisted and behavioral health treatment as the best course. And Massachusetts has been a leader in treatment and prevention nationwide. While interdiction and law enforcement have a place, the narrow approach that dominated the President’s remarks today simply won’t work. President Trump is taking us backwards.

Sad news from Bob Isadore:

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of long time friend and activist Etta Goodstein. As many of you know, Etta has had a courageous battle against cancer for many years. Her loss is immeasurable. Even through her illness, Etta has stood and fought for the values and principals of the Democratic party.

At this time I do not have any information regarding funeral arrangements. As soon as I do, I will let you know.
