Military Strikes Continue Against ISIL Terrorists in Syria and Iraq
SOUTHWEST ASIA- On April 30, coalition military forces continued to attack ISIL terrorists in Syria and Iraq. In Syria, coalition military forces conducted two strikes using attack and remotely piloted aircraft against ISIL targets. Additionally in Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted 26 strikes coordinated with and in support of the Government of Iraq using rocket artillery and bomber and fighter aircraft against ISIL targets.
The following is a summary of the strikes conducted against ISIL since the last press release:
Syria
• Near Mar’a, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed two ISIL fighting positions.
Iraq
• Near Al Baghdadi, two strikes destroyed an ISIL mortar system and five ISIL bed down locations.
• Near Al Qaim, one strike struck an ISIL vehicle borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) facility.
• Near Albu Hayat, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed two ISIL fighting positions.
• Near Bayji, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed three ISIL fighting positions and suppressed an ISIL tactical unit.
• Near Fallujah, three strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL fighting position, an ISIL supply cache, and an ISIL front end loader.
• Near Hit, four strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed two ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL heavy machine guns, an ISIL anti-air artillery system, an ISIL vehicle, an ISIL unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) site, an ISIL bunker, an ISIL tunnel entrance, and an ISIL VBIED storage facility and denied ISIL access to terrain.
• Near Kirkuk, two strikes struck two separate large ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL fighting position, four ISIL assembly areas, five ISIL vehicles, two ISIL VBIEDs, two ISIL mortar positions, an ISIL mortar system, an ISIL bunker, and an ISIL supply cache.
• Near Kisik, one strike suppressed an ISIL tactical unit.
• Near Mosul, six strikes struck three separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed three ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL heavy machine guns, two ISIL mortar systems, two ISIL vehicles, and an ISIL weapons cache.
• Near Ramadi, one strike struck an ISIL tactical unit.
• Near Sultan Abdallah, one strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL fighting position, five ISIL heavy machine guns, four ISIL mortar systems, and an ISIL assembly area.
• Near Tal Afar, one strike immobilized two ISIL excavators.
Strike assessments are based on initial reports. All aircraft returned to base safely.
A strike, as defined in the CJTF releases, means one or more kinetic events that occur in roughly the same geographic location to produce a single, sometimes cumulative effect for that location. So having a single aircraft deliver a single weapon against a lone ISIL vehicle is one strike, but so is multiple aircraft delivering dozens of weapons against a group of buildings and vehicles and weapon systems in a compound, for example, having the cumulative effect of making that facility (or facilities) harder or impossible to use. Accordingly, CJTF-OIR does not report the number or type of aircraft employed in a strike, the number of munitions dropped in each strike, or the number of individual munition impact points against a target.
Ground-based artillery fired in counter-fire or in fire support to maneuver roles are not classified as a strike as defined by CJTF-OIR.
The strikes were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the operation to eliminate the ISIL terrorist group and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, and the wider international community.
The destruction of ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the group's ability to project terror and conduct operations. Coalition nations which have conducted strikes in Iraq include Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Jordan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Coalition nations which have conducted strikes in Syria include Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Jordan, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

الضربات العسكرية ضد داعش الإرهابي في سوريا و العراق مستمرة.
جنوب غرب آسيا- في اليوم ال 30 من شهر نيسان / أبريل تابعت قوات التحالف ضرباتها في سوريا و العراق ضد أهداف لداعش الإرهابي. لقد نفذت قوات التحالف ضربتين إثنين في سوريا ضد أهداف تابعة لداعش مستعملتاً طائرات مهاجمة و طائرات مسيرة عن بعد.بالإضافة، و بالتنسيق مع و لدعم الحكومة العراقية، نفذت قوات التحالف 26 ضربة في العراق ضد أهداف تابعة لداعش مستعملتاً مدافع صاروخية و قاذفات و طائرات مقاتلة.
فيما يلي ملخص للضربات التي تم تنفيذها ضد داعش منذ نشر آخر تحرير:
سوريا
• بالقرب من مارع، إستهدفت ضربتين إثنين وحدة تكتيكية لداعش و دمرتا (عدد2) مواقع قتالية لداعش.
العراق
• بالقرب من البغدادي، دمرت ضربتين إثنين نظام هاون لداعش و (عدد5) مواقع لمنام محاربين في داعش.
• بالقرب من القائم، استهدفت ضربة واحدة منشأة لتجهيز العجلات المفخخة تابعة لداعش.
• بالقرب من البوحياة، استهدفت ضربتين إثنين وحدتين تكتيكيتين منفصلتين لداعش و دمرتا (عدد2) مواقع قتالية لداعش.
• بالقرب من بيجي، استهدفت ضربتين إثنين وحدة تكتيكية لداعش و دمرتا (عدد3) مواقع قتالية لداعش. كما أصمتا وحدة تكتيكية لداعش.
• بالقرب من الفلوجة، استهدفت ثلاث ضربات ثلاث وحدات تكتيكية منفصلة لداعش و دمروا موقع قتالي لداعش و كدس عتاد لداعش و جرافة/شفل لداعش.
• بالقرب من هيت، استهدفت أربع ضربات ثلاث وحدات تكتيكية منفصلة لداعش و دمروا (عدد2) مواقع قتالية لداعش و (عدد2) رشاشات من العيار الثقيل لداعش و نظام مضادات جوية لداعش و عجلة لداعش و موقع للطائرات المسيرة عن بعد تابع لداعش و مخبأ تحت الأرض لداعش و مدخل نفق لداعش و مستودع عجلات مفخخة تابع لداعش. كما منعوا الدواعش من متابعة تقدمهم في الميدان.
• بالقرب من كركوك، استهدفت ضربتين إثنين (عدد2) وحدات تكتيكية كبيرة منفصلة لداعش و دمرتا موقع قتالي لداعش و (عدد4) مواقع تجمع لداعش و(عدد5) عجلات لداعش و (عدد2) عجلات مفخخة من قبل داعش و (عدد2) مواقع مدافع هاون لداعش و نظام هاون لداعش و مخبأ تحت الأرض لداعش و كدس عتاد لداعش.
• بالقرب من الكسك، أصمتت ضربة واحدة وحدة تكتيكية لداعش.
• بالقرب من الموصل، استهدفت ست ضربات ثلاث وحدات تكتيكية منفصلة لداعش و دمروا (عدد3) مواقع قتالية لداعش و (عدد2) رشاشات من العيار الثقيل لداعش و (عدد2) أنظمة هاون لداعش و (عدد2) عجلات لداعش و كدس أسلحة لداعش.
• بالقرب من الرمادي، استهدفت ضربة واحدة وحدة تكتيكية لداعش.
• بالقرب من السلطان عبدالله، استهدفت ضربة واحدة وحدة تكتيكية لداعش و دمرت موقع قتالي لداعش و (عدد5) رشاشات من العيار الثقيل لداعش و (عدد4) أنظمة هاون لداعش و موقع تجمع لداعش.
• بالقرب من تلعفر، ضربة واحدة شلت حركة (عدد2) حفارات لداعش.
تم تحليل الضربات بشكل أولي. وقد عادت جميع الطائرات الى قواعدها سالمة.
إن تعبير " ضربة" في تحرير قوة المهام المشتركة يعنى تفاعل حركي واحد أو أكثر حصل تقريبا في نفس الموقع الجغرافي و أسفر الى إحداث نتيجة واحدة أو أكثر، بطريقة متتالية، في الموقع المقصود. بما معناه: إذا تم إستعمال ذخيرة واحدة ضد سيارة واحدة لداعش يعد ضربة. كما أنه يعد ضربة واحدة إذا تم إستعمال العديد من الطائرات التي إستخدمت العشرات من القذائف لقصف مجموعة من مباني و سيارات و منظومات أسلحة موجودة في مجمع ما أسفر على تحويل المجمع (أو المنشآت ) غير صالحين للإستعمال. قوة المهام المشتركة - عملية العزم الصلب لا تذكر أصناف أو أعداد الطائرات أو عدد الذخائر التي تم إستعمالها خلال الضربة. كما أنها لا تذكر عدد الحفر التي أحدثتها الذخيرة في الهدف.
لا يتم تصنيف نيران المدافع الأرضية للرد على مصادر النيران المعادية أو لدعم القوات العاملة في الميدان كضربة عملا بتعريف "ضربة" في قوة المهام المشتركة - عملية العزم الصلب.
لقد تم تنفيذ الضربات كجزء من عملية العزم الصلب التي تهدف إلى تدمير داعش و إزالة الخطر الذي يشكله على العراق ، و سوريا، و المجتمع الدولي ككل.
إن تدمير أهداف تابعة لداعش في سوريا و العراق يحد من قدرة داعش على تنفيذ أعمال إرهابية. الدول التي شاركت في الضربات ضد داعش في العراق هي : استراليا ، بلجيكا، كندا ، الدنمرك ، فرنسا ، المملكة الاردنية الهاشمية ، هولندا ، المملكة المتحدة ، و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. الدول التي شاركت في الضربات ضد داعش في سوريا هي: استراليا ،مملكة البحرين، كندا، فرنسا، المملكة الاردنية الهاشمية، هولندا، المملكة العربية السعودية، تركيا، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، المملكة المتحدة و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
