This LEICA LEITZ SUMMICRON 90mm f/2.0 has its typical dot-shape separation on its rear cemented lens group.
After taking out the target lens, following the standard treatment procedure, the lens group receive a re-cementing with precise collimation. The last step is re-blackening the lens edge. The separation issue has been resolved perfectly!

This M35/1.4 pre-A receive a re-cementing treatment to restore the problem of front cemented lens group separation. Beside that, some dirts and fog on the other glasses and need a cleaning.
M35/1.4 pre-A has two cemented lens group that located anterior and posterior to the aperture blades, and both group may have high probability to suffer from separation. This case shows separation to it's front cemented group only.
The target lens group was imbedded in the metal stand, and needs a specific tool to cut off the metal frame to take out the lens for re-cementing treatment.
The separation issue can be perfectly resolved by following the standard treatment procedure "taking apart the lens group, cleaning residual glue, re-cementing under precise collimation".

The main problem of this lens is the serious damage on the front glass. For this lens, the damage comes from two factors. The one is natural process called "aging or glass deterioration", that makes the glass full of tiny dots/pits. The other one is man-made damage, such as improper cleaning that makes large area abrasion or long and deep scratches.
Fortunately, most of the damages are on the superficial surface of the front glass, and can be removed by precise polishing technique.
The result is positive as you can see in the following photos, most of the marks on the front glass were removed! The sample images were taken by this lens with Sony A7R before and after the receiving polishing treatment.

This old Leica Hektor 7.3cm f/1.9 looks hazy internally, and I thought it may caused by glass deterioration or cemented glue deterioration, and need a special treatment. After I disassembled the lens, I realized it just only dust and can be removed off by general cleaning.
After a full CLA, the lens restore back to great optical and mechanical condition.

This Angenieux 90/1.8 P1 had a severe glass deterioration and scratches. The owner wanted me to make a polishing treatment to make it usable again.
The front glass was embedded in the metal ring, and need a special equipment to cut off the thin metal frame to take it out for polishing.
After polishing, the front glass looks clean and clear, and has a big difference to its pre-polishing condition. The polishing treatment won't alter the lens performance and make it reborn.
這支東京光學的 Simlar 50/1.5 的前膠合鏡組出現邊緣脫膠/離膠的問題，雖然還不到影響成像的程度，但鏡主希望可以先處理好。 此膠合鏡組是三片黏合在一起的，雖然脫膠問題只出現在兩個膠合面的其中一面，處理上，還是需要三片都分開，再重新黏合。 處理步驟上，會花費比較多時間與精力。
This Simlar 50/1.5 shows separation to its front cemented triplet. The owner want me to resolve the problem even the separation won't affect the image quality under this condition. Following the standard treatment procedure, the problem has been resolved perfectly.

鏡片髒污 和 脫膠/離膠 的處理方式不同，鏡片髒污只需一般的清潔擦拭即可完成，脫膠/離膠必須經過繁複的處理程序，包含分離黏合在一起的鏡片、清除殘膠、對心重新黏合等，必要時，還需要重新補上鏡邊避光黑漆。
The lens owner want me to clean the internal dust and haze.
After I disassembling the lens, I found the internal haze was a result of rear cemented doublet separation.
Following the standard treatment procedure with precise re-cementing, the separation has been resolved and the doublet got its new life. The lens looks clean and clear again!
這支 Contarex Carl Zeiss Sonnar 85mm f/2.0 的前膠合鏡組出現脫膠/離膠的問題。 這是一個三枚鏡片黏合在一起鏡組，兩個膠合層的其中一個處現脫膠/離膠。 實務上的經驗，沒辦法只分離有脫膠/離膠的膠合層，必須三片鏡片都分開，再重新黏合。 處理上，比兩片黏在一起的膠合鏡組離膠更為麻煩，費用也會比較高。
This Contarex Carl Zeiss Sonnar 85mm f/2.0 got a separation to one of the two cementing layers of its front cemented triplet lens. The way to resolve this problem is to taking apart the three piece of glass, cleaning the residual glue and re-cementing by precise collimation. Re-cementing for a triplet has a more complicated procedure than a doublet, so the price will be higher.
I used to improving blackening of the lens edge after re-cementing to reach a better result.

This Leica thread mount Canon 35/1.5 L39 lens needs an overall CLA, because the movement of the focusing ring is not smooth, the blades show sign of oil, and the glasses have oily haze, slight fungus and internal dust.
I use the highly stable grease to lubricate the focusing thread to avoid oil separation that makes the oily aperture blades again in the future, and won't cause oily haze again.
After the maintenance, the lens works greatly!
這支KERN-MACRO-SWITAR 50mm f/1.8送來處理是想要解決它前後兩組膠合鏡組出現的脫膠/離膠的問題。
它的 脫膠/離膠 情況看起來頗輕微，不過這問題是會隨時間漸漸惡化的，所以鏡主希望可以儘早處理，將問題解決。

The two group were embedded in the metal frame and need a special equipment to cut off the metal seal ring to take out the lens.
The re-cementing treatment involves multi-steps, such as taking apart the cemented lens, cleaning the residual glue, collimating for re-cementing, blackening the lens edge. The final step for this lens is to seal the lens back to its metal frame.
The whole process is complicated, but performed smoothly and the result is perfect!

This LEICA NOCTILUX 50/1.2 comes with following minor problems and its owner want me resolve it~
Cleaning glasses. One of the internal glass has water like marks on it, and others show some slight fog and large dust that need a cleaning.
Re-lubricating the focusing ring. The large movement during focusing is smooth, but micro-movement is a little bit choppy.
The aperture ring works smooth, but do not have clear solid click-stops that need to have an adjustment.
The aperture blades have oil and need a cleaning.
I use high quality synthetic grease with stable feature to lubricate the focusing ring to avoid "oil separation" issue that result in generating liquid oil spreading all over the internal mechanical structure (including aperture blades).
