Strange Places in Scotland

VICTORIAN FOOTBRIDGE AT BRIDGE OF DUN.
Now in place at Bridge of Dun Heritage Railway, this Victorian footbridge was previously at Dunblane Station and dates back to the 1890's. It was moved here recently and looks brilliant. I remember using it at Dunblane just a few years ago.

Our class 27 loco D5370 will be out tomorrow, Saturday 8th July, and according to the BBC forecast the sun is booked to make an appearance too. The rest of the group have all headed south to the East Lancashire Railway's diesel gala, leaving me and David to hold the fort. We're not jealous though because there's plenty of enjoyment to be had from our strong wee Sulzer. First train is at 10:15 from Bridge of Dun, 11:00 from Brechin. See you there...?

The group's class 27 locomotive D5370 on it's way home to Brechin in 2014. Seen in Hamilton services.

The locomotive was delivered by celebrity power truck "Big Red" and achieved quite a following!
