The Allman Brothers have announced their FINAL shows. They were one of the first concerts I ever saw when my dad took me to the Beacon my sophomore year of high school. I couldn't believe how amazing and young Derek was and Oteil took a cap...tivating bass solo that blew us away. The drums were a waterfall of rhythm and to this day I haven't seen anyone other than Butch play timpani live with a rock band.
If you have never seen this band live I highly recommend you make it to a show this summer. I'm feeling absolutely blessed to be performing at their Peach Music Festival in August with CTS.
