You'll notice one of the events North of Yokosuka, Japan in Negishi that I directed and organized as our team appears for Black History Month at the Negishi Club. Around 5:45 we come on with the former slave and noted hero, later Senator, Robert Smalls (as portrayed by James Chavis).

I've also been working on this Kanrin Maru report from Tokyo Bay, Japan. The year was set in 1860 with American sailors escorting and sailing to America with the first-ever Japanese ship to traverse the Pacific. I don't come on until about 15:50 and take note of the Black Ships Festival (very famous) at the 18:34 mark. https://www.facebook.com/mongiello/videos/10210433050205867/
