To raise money for Bowel Cancer research, our garden centre manager, Ryan, will be participating in the Ring o’ fire ultra-marathon in September.
Ring O' Fire is a coastal ultra-marathon which takes runners on an extraordinary 135 mile journey around the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales.
The epic foot race is staged over three consecutive days and follows the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path.
This 135 mile race is further than 21 x 10k races, 10 x half marathons or ...5 x marathons and is run in 3 tough stages set over 3 consecutive days.
The extreme distance and variable terrain has sealed the race's reputation as one of the most challenging ultra-marathons in the British Isles.
The aim is to raise as much money for charity as possible through sponsorship, donations and promotions in store including a raffle, with all proceeds going to Bowel Cancer U.K.
